Hey guys I just want to hear your perspectives about intention and your thoughts and insights regarding it. Share any quotes/revelations or thoughts you have about intention.

Here is mine:

During my final shavasana(end of the yoga class),I set an intention to get insight regarding setting intentions. Then I suddenly started thinking about the infinity symbol and how we are infinite beings with thought's that are infinite. Now visualize the infinity symbol as a highway and our thoughts as vehicles on this highway, strong emotions and visualizations actually act as multipliers to speed up the manifestation of our thoughts.

So let's say I set an intention to sell my house within a week. I send out this thought to the infinity highway and the universe will use all its power to make it happen. However if you send out a doubt or fear of it manifesting, you are sending out a negative multiplier or another infinite vehicle that is clogging the highway and preventing from the original vehicle/intention from manifesting.

When we are in dream state/altered state from within the infinite highway works instantly and things manifest within seconds because time is not a factor anymore. So your fears as well as positive thoughts manifest right away... However in our dense physical reality things are much slower but with positive thoughts and good vibrations we make this reality also less dense and thoughts tend to manifest so fast that it sometimes feels magical. Thats the true art of mental alchemy.

So heres a basic formula Im trying my best to explain and break it down...

A = Your intention/thought = infinity
+ 1 = positive thoughts and visualizations and positive emotions

- 1 = intruding negative thought= negative infinity

Here we have a an intention to sell a house, I also reinforce it with a ritual, positive emotions and visualizations. But I also have a little minor doubt that it might not happen so the formula will look something like.

A(infinity) +1(positive emotions) +1 (visualization) - 1(doubt) = A + 2 which means that it will still manifest even though I had one minor doubt but might not manifest as fast.

But let say we set the same intention but we have zero faith, confidence and fear that it might not manifest and the fear keeps haunting us every day instead of having full faith.

A -1 -1 = A -2 so we already nulled the thought/manifestation to nothing and maybe even something negative manifest out of it as well.

Sorry for the confusion as I am not as articulate as I wish to be. I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to get at here. Please share your insights as well regarding setting intention.

Also if you just have a bunch of unfocused thoughts you are clogging the infinity highway with a bunch of infinite crap and cause a traffic jam of infinity and barely any of them get a chance to manifest and you are like a loose cannon with no target and will not have a proper following or a path to follow and will be lost. You have to stick with that intention all the time and keep focus to your thought so it will come to fruition. Send that vehicle out on the highway and ride it like a F1 racing car on an empty high way and stop throwing trucks on the highway to slow you down until it manifests by making a full infinity loop and comes back to you in another shape or form... from where you sent it out in the first place.

thanks for your thoughts ... River of Thoughts .. hehe

the equation you presented really clicks with me and my own experience and I am glad you posted this... outlook on intention is indeed a huge variable in how one's experience will carry out. a person can know very well where they stand within themselves, yet their thoughts are more than capable of creating an experience which doesn't represent their true will.

the way you think about either the past of present always acts as a filter on the moment that you are experiencing.. you are instead experiencing a hybrid between the past and present or the future and present...at that point one is not so much percieving ... they are more interpreting

acacian, Im glad it resonates with you! Very happy I hope others share their quotes/ideas/insights and revelations regarding intentions. Even messages from spirit guides etc would be nice to get some more information regarding this topic.

I really like what you said about the past, present and future experience! It makes a lot of sense.

I like what you are on about.

I will add that IME, Intention is only a part of the equation.

I usually break it down as Awareness, Focus, Intention & Willpower.

Generally in that order... but not necessarily.

Without Awareness, your intention has such a narrow scope that it may seem trivial and juvenile in light of subsequent revelations. Always best to start with as clear and objective a view as you can get.

Without Focus, as you mentioned, the power of intention is diluted and usually misses its mark.

And...

Without Willpower, intention is limp and feeble. For any true manifestation to take place, a substantial amount of personal power must be invested... of course, power from a higher source is even better... in most cases anyway.

So there you have it. This is something I have worked on and with for a long long while, so I hope you get something out of it.

Seconded.. I like seeing threads like this.

I believe Hyperspace mentioned on another thread about intention being more about an overall intent than anything overly specific (or similar, I am sure it was HF anyways lol). I personally feel this is a good overall method.

Kind of like asking for guidance or wisdom in general (as two examples) rather than say guidance on relationship with a specific person or wisdom regarding a specific topic.

Yep.

I find that simple intentions are preferable. If you are too specific, you limit the input of the Universe which will tend to bring you things you couldn't have intended specifically... because you had no idea such things were even possible.

Leaving as many potential futures open in your intent is generally waaaay better than wishing for specific things, because we have no idea what we really want most of the time.

Hi all, I would love to add to this thread as I had just that conundrum yesterday.
My intention was, "what is my purpose" (I think it was too general)

after 25mg I was instantly given, "help others to have a fulfilling and purposeful life"
in that way 'I' would recieve a meaningful existence.
Simple............. Not so.

My mind would not let it go and it became caotic and mixed up. VERY simple in the eyes of DMT but my mind couldnt understand the simplicity. I was symbolically frogmarched out of the experience, I came away with the distinct feeling I didn't focus enough on my intention.

notes.
All intention is man made with only the vocabulary one has. We all use words to decribe our world and sometimes that is not enough. My impression that I can away with was that ALL intention leads to the same place. It is used by DMT as leverage to break you free from your mind.

Does anyone have any thoughts about going in 'without' intention at all ?

Hope I have explained decriptively enough'

On another note, a few days before I went in without intention and I witnessed 'Bicycle/people'. A mixture of beings with a top half and mechanical legs intergrated with wheels, real crazy...... Peddling/flying about the scene.....Thumbs up
I wish I could draw.

Gowpen,

Sounds to me like you got a crystal clear answer to your intent. It rarely gets clearer than that in words. It might get much clearer when they show you stuff from inside out, all around and in various versions.... or when they download entire concepts and blocks of info into your dome... but that usually leaves more questions to replace the old.

If your mind went chaotic, I think your focus should be on learning to control your mind. Meditate bro. Simple as.

Thanks Hyperspace.... you are completely right I'm sure, now.... after a few days I can see clearer... I am getting use to its subtlnesswith a sledge hammer....

Oddly enough an opportunity raised itself the very next day to do some mentoring with some young people, Bingo.
I will intergrate this and meditate regularly.
Thanks for your reply, It really helps getting feedback.
