Hi all, my first post here First of all thanks for a great forum, all I have learned so far is mostly from dmt-nexus site and Im very greatfull for that <3 To my question, I did a strait to base extraction yesterday the same way as I always do and get good results. around 1.7%, but yesterday I did it with salt for the first time and got 1.6 grams of crystals from 70 grams of mimosa bark from my first pull, which surprised me allot But I had read on the forums that heating up bark could give even more yield, so I heated it up and reused the same heptan for my second pull. Let it freeze for about 18 hours. I could se some crystals there but not much, but now when looking at It I saw something oily stuck at the bottom of my Jam Jar, took i knife to se what it is and after collecting it some sort of brown/reddish waxy/oily, I have never got this before, any body know what it is? Or has it always been there just that I have not noticed it when collecting the crystals? On another note, I tried to do a third pull just to show my friend really quick what I do with the heptan and now all the heptan is also the same color as this wax. I could still separate and collect the heptan, but its all brown/ red, never seen this before?

So I have freezed the separated reddish heptan over night and its almost back to normal color. At the bottom there is a big brown layer, is this jungle spice or just impurities? Would it be possible to extract that much jungle spice without xylene/toluene and only heptan? The only thing i have done really was too boil the used mhrb, and it was boiled a long time, maybe around 2-3 hours, and then letting it cool down but still be warm. Warm up some used heptan and add it. Done this a hundred times before without boil and never got this.
