Ok folks, I do need some input here.

I steamed 50g of A.confusa tree bark (not root), based to 11ph and used 200ml of Toluene for my first pull which looked crystal clear in the jar and just evaped it under a dehydrator. I did a 91% IPA wash and evaped again and there was some reddish/yellowish tinge on the edges of the water puddles and everything evaped to an oil again. I used a couple of pinches of peppermint leaves and a pinch of blue lotus stamens and the back of a spoon to rub it around to get most of it up.

As the IPA was evaporating I was trying my harmala cakes on some blue lotus stamens. Maybe a bit too much because I got an upset stomach and felt extremely groggy. The sick feeling stayed with me and walking seemed to make it worse so I grabbed my acacia plate and went up stairs to my easy chair to combat the sicky blues.

First attempt:

About 45 minutes later I talked myself into trying my first toke of that rubbery tasting acacia changa mix.

I took a small toke of the changa and felt a hot flash that set off the nauzea again and it was heavy. Nothing explosive but I needed to purge. I did a little burp up of a spoonfull of tummy acid and then seemed ok for the most part. Sometimes I think the body just needs to go through the motions to stop the reaction.

Then back to the easy chair.

I have no frame of reference for what a subbreakthough and breakthrough is but I think this was a sub.

Each small toke gave a heavy/deeper body rushes and numbness. All limbs and lips , etc..

I worked 1/2 the bowl with about 3 hits. There were visuals but I am well practiced at visualization and it was hard to tell if it was the acacia but there was an interesting prismatic effect to the inner scenery and things did seem to be a bit blueish/whiteish when my eyes were open. I went to my theater room which is pitch black and played a Hemi-Sync cd on the surround sound system for ambiant noise. I kept toking maybe 5 more hits with the same deepening sensations occuring then I fell asleep in that room for maybe an hour then went to bed.

I was extremly tired/exhausted feeling and left everything in the lab and kitchen as it was and went straight to bed. I slept for maybe 6 hours with no waking (that I remember) and that is unheard of for me to do as I am a very lite sleeper and it took maybe 2 hours after waking to feel like I was actually awake.

The whole experience is what I might call narcotic, wonderful in a very heavy way and like nothing that I have ever felt before.

Questions:
Was that what you guys are calling a breakthrough? or sub?
Are you guys actually passing out into complete unconsciousness when you get a breakthrough? Like oh crap Im going to hit the floor because of complete shutdown.

Thanks for listening and any input would be greatly appreciated as always and thanks for getting me this far in such a short period of time.

Hi De ho,

Sounds to me like your getting the very first effects of the experience, there's a lot more to come.

When you have a full on experience its not that you pass out, you just don't need your monkey suit for 5 mins so it kind of powers down. I'm not sure about hitting the floor as I'm already on it before I beginVery happy

If your smoking Changa I would just take the plunge, load up a nice big bowl full and hit it until you dissolve reality, literally reality can perfectly dissolve into the mystery. Its a scary leap to take but fortune favours the brave, take the final hit and then 1 more to make sureSurprised

Thank you for the confirmation and advice 3rdI.

This is such an interesting journey of the mind and emotional make up of a person. I am usually a big lone wolf in the world but I know myself well enough to know when I need the support of other humans.

Thanks for seeing that and putting your best foot forward. Thumbs up
