I don't think you need to apologise. It's as valid a topic as any and certainly meets the standard of this forum.

If somebody got iv dmt as punishment for killing a member of my family? I doubt i'd be very happy about it.

Maybe you could get the authourities to pump you with iv DMT til you got over the loss of your loved ones Demented. Then afterwards you could have an ayahusca love in with the perpetrator. I think this psyches for crims is a bandaid and instead the root cause should be dealt with -- prevention. I blame the parents.

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.

Interesting thread title. Before reading what you actually proposed, I was imagining that the prisoners would be used as experimental subjects to see what having DMT in your system every waking hour would do to somebody. The result might be very interesting.

But as for your proposal. I can't see it working. Countries that still can't abolish capital punishment have such backward views on the treatment of criminals that such a radical proposal is precluded simply by political reality.

As for the idea of forceful rehabilitation, I sense that one day we will be able to perfectly brainwash people, regardless of whether this technique will be used in prisons. So I approve of the spirit behind your proposal. These are people we elect to kill or confine until they die, anyway.
