In chat Endlessness told me that ammonia evaporates entirely away but ive read some threads were people express concern over orally ingesting extracts where ammonia was used.

I really trust Endless on this but Im still a little weary as Ive always used practically harmless bases in the past.

Is there a chance that some ammonia is left in my already completely dry p. incarnata extract? or is it safe to consume away?

Thanks for any input.

Ammonia will indeed evaporate. Thus if you have a dry product it will not contain ammonia anymore.

Kind regards,

True indeed... Ammonia will completely evaporate, but if the substance has a acid pH upon drying, ammonia can still exist as ammonium. Ammonia and ammonium are used extensively in the food industry and is also a part of normal physiological processes in the body, as ammonia is produced in large amounts by the breakdown of proteins and converted to urea by the liver and eliminate in urine. Ammonia is also eliminated in every breath.
