My girlfriend decided to take some acid yesterday afternoon. We both thought this sugar cube was dosed the same as all the others that were in the batch. However, this was one of the bottom ones. Anyways, needless to say, there was way more on there then what she was able to handle. The whole time she was having breakdowns, and fighting to grip onto reality. She was scared for her life. She woke up this morning feeling completely depressed, with no memory of the event what so ever. She is also having memory issues with today, and has had no short term memory at all since she has woken up. I have a feeling this is just temporary effects of a very traumatic psychological experience, but I fear that this may last. Can anyone give me advice on this? Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.

so sorry to hear this, it will pass! please reassure her of that i've had two incredibly rough high dose lsd experiences that had me feeling the same way. I felt off for a while but doing grounding things like yoga, eating healthy food, exercising, meditating, reading, and especially spending time in nature/the sun or with loved ones is all very good medicine. That feeling the first few days after a whopper like that can convince you that its permanent and you'll never fully recover, it just is impossible to think you could ever be back to 'normal'... but it really does fade fast over time, despite how unlikely that may seem to her now. Really traumatic experiences with LSD can take time, but she should recover pretty quickly and feel much better tomorrow even Also, writing or keeping a daily journal is a good thing that can really help build some inner coherency and comfort with ones mind. Just one thing that helped me put myself back together after getting too blown apart... a similar thread was started here. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...&m=439987#post439987maybe have her read it? theres some great advise in that thread

I dunno..if she has no recall of the event and is having memory problems I would be worried. That is not normal..to wake up the next day with no recall of anything that took place. Are you positive it was even LSD? Long live the unwoke.

High doses and freakouts can lead to memory loss. I've seen it with LSD and DMT. Time should take care of this.

Positive music, positive films etc
had a similar shock to the system a few years back and it can be difficult to frame afterwards, but just see it as something which has provided a lesson and teaching (even if the nature of the lesson isn't understood yet ) Sometimes these things illuminate more of your psyche than you're prehaps ready for ,but realizing that on a subconcious level, seeds have been planted to set things straight and heal any wounds are there.
Coming to peace with events that have already occurred and cannot be changed is essential.

Thank you all so much. I have been telling her these same things pretty much, but I myself have never had such an experience with LSD, so it did more help to hear it from people who have been there then to hear it from me. She seems better today, her memory of the trip is slowly coming back to her. I think your help reassured her more then I could have, and I also have a close friend of both mine and hers that I contacted. She has experience with ingesting visible crystals of LSD, so if anyone could talk my girlfriend into a sense of calm and reassurance, I think it would be her. Thanks again to everyone, your help is greatly appreciated.
