First of all I'm not complaining or disappointing by this, I just wanted to share because I find it quite interesting. My first handful of sub-breakthrough doses have all had symmetrical visuals, resembling a kaleidoscope or music visualizer.

Last weekend I decided to smoke some changa while already under the influence of a research chemical of the NBOMe variety. After some truly beautiful visuals and euphoria, the entire plane of symmetrical patterns completely rotated towards me [] -> | and I saw all the layers and patters from a different perspective, it felt like a visual epiphany and was the first non-symmetrical vision I've seen from DMT. At the time it was nothing short of mind blowing.

I've smoked changa two times since then, and both times the visuals are not symmetrical anymore Confused They're equally beautiful and complex; the most recent time I saw what I can best describe as a bird with *many* wings flying around my field of view. Had this been before the "visual epiphany" the bird would have had to stay locked to the center and be perfectly symmetrical.

Another quick note, I'm also feeling an intense yet comfortable energy throughout my entire body during the DMT trips which didn't happen before. It's almost as if my body is resonating. I don't think I'm breaking though when it happens, but perhaps I am getting closer or the molecule is telling me I'm almost ready.

Perspective on DMT can be wacky. Symmetry can probably hold you back in some ways, and it could be an epiphany for others who rarely have symmetry in their experiences.

That energy IME is a major component to the DMT experience. From my observations, it could be the essential essence or fundamental principle that underlies the whole experience. In my experiences, all of hyperspace including the landscapes, entities, animals (I've seen numerous kinds of fantastical birds as well), machines, objects, furniture, architecture and so on, are all composed of this energy. From personal experimentation, I've become convinced that it's heavily affected by a number of factors including light and sound (vibration), attention and breathing. There is much to be said about this energy, but I remember when I first discovered it, I was listening to music on DMT, and my body was autonomously rhythmically oscillating along with the music in a very exaggerated kind of way. I've had times taking DMT outside where the intense light of the sun was pulling on me so hard that my feet were walking me forward towards it by themselves. All very strange stuff indeed, but pay attention to it.

Symmetry for me has been a very rare experience. Usually I'm in an environment where I can look around, like being in any real space, and can see all kinds of geometric apparitions from all angles. Perhaps your departure from basic symmetry signals a deeper level of exploration that you've embarked upon.

Thank you both for your replies. The energy concept is really fascinating, and I will be able to appreciate it much more now. When it first started happening I had a rush of thoughts like "what if I messed up the extraction and my body is failing because of it. etc" The second time I went with the feeling and met the aforementioned bird-like creature, it was much more positive.

@Guyomech I haven't been able to look around yet, I'll try to focus on exploring the environment next time. Also I've been keeping my eyes closed as I'm still fairly aware of my body at the doses I've been exploring. I think I am getting deeper, and want to go further but the "pre-launch anxiety" gets to me.
