I tend to lean towards the side of giving people a fair chance, despite what they may look like or the "vibe" they may give me. But then again, I have a very strong sense of personal power and have no fear of death

I suppose it could have something to do with the fact that people are constantly judging me by my appearance and saying they were terrified of me before they got to know me for who I really am. I may look foul, but I feel fair, if you get my meaning

Some of the best friends I've ever had were those "creepy" types...those dudes you imagine might live in their mom's basement. The truth is you can't know until you give someone a chance. Life is full of risks, if you play it safe all the time how can you really live? At least that's how I choose to look at it.
I trust my intuitions, but often our social and cultural conditioning overrides and makes us judge people for unfair reasons. If this man had looked more like yourself, or more "normal" to you, would you have had the same reaction? Would he still have given you that same "vibe"? Or if your coworker hadn't told you he also creeped them out?
Marilyn Manson is a very intelligent and fascinating person. He epitomizes that old adage "Don't judge a book by its cover".
There's another lead singer I just became aware of that fits the same description. He was obviously one of the early "manson" kids and now he's carrying on the work that Marilyn started in the 90's. His lyrics are surprisingly thoughtful and interesting. Of course there's some hate and anger in there, he is a metal musician after all

But this is what he looks like:

He has a lot to say about religion, society, and the way people judge and fear what they don't understand. He gives a lot of kids hope and the realization that they aren't alone. Some lyrics:
"I will defend that, we are the vanquished, and you will not make our decisions
I won't pretend that, I'm not a victim of a world that will not listen"
"All I want is to reach someone,
to say something that could change their life forever
To let them know they're not alone, you're not alone
To all the kids who's letters I receive
The broken hearted, the damaged just like me
I will be your voice to let the world know we stand as one"
"OPEN YOUR MIND BEFORE YOUR MOUTH" (I love that one)
