Wow, I've seen that everyday but I just learned what it looks like. Options

This post is dedicated to objects seen in everyday life that are infinitely amazing while tripping. I mostly trip on shrooms, if that matters. I know just about everything is infinitely amazing when tripping but try to give just a few really nice examples.

Folds in clothing. You see this all the time, every minute almost, yet you've never perceived these folds for what they truly are. Intricate shadowing, diverse depths, and sooo many folds in just one article of clothing. The folds seem to teach you about the matter of the cloth, thin or thick, cotton or silk, all folds are different and ever changing as you shift positions.

Wood grain. I see this daily in desks at school, my home flooring, and my staircase. Because you see this everyday you never tend to notice the detailed shades that go into the grains. You can see the patterns of repeated growth cycles, you can imagine the tree as it ages and the seasons affect it. You can view how time bends the repeating patterns as they merge and converge.

Light. The effect of light on the colors you perceive is so important. Just changing the lighting in a room changes your entire surroundings in all detail. Reality seems dependent upon the light it reflects, and as the light gets brighter things become more real seeming and colorful. When the lights are off you would usually see nothing, but when tripping if all the lights are off you never see just a black background, you see swirls of color, geometric patterns, our brain is free of barriers and produces its own visions.
We are surprisingly similar.

My clearest memory of this phenomenon was when I was out in an open field on a spring day, and I looked up to see clouds rapidly shifting around in the wind. I looked closely at the boundary lines of the clouds, and remembered seeing - for the first time - the complex and constantly-mutating fractal webbing that made up the interface between "cloud" and "air." I couldn't believe that I never noticed how alive and multi-dimensional they are!

This is one of the best rewards we get from Psychedelics. Glad you have experienced it!

Snow.

I love it anyway, but with enhanced perceptions nothing beats a bluebird sky just after a snowstorm, a billion crystalline rainbow points on the ground shouting look at me, look at me, look at me!!!

Always makes me think of Aldous Huxley's:
The reason we like diamonds so much is that they remind us of planes of being where they are but grains of sand on the beach.

Smile Thumbs up
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

Bugs! Ants, roly polies, flys, spiders, caterpillars. Nature or wildlife in general. They are so intricate and tiny and busy, I love it. After a while I'll get stuck thinking I'm in A Bug's Life or something.

I really like to look at the actual texture of paintings while on mushrooms (looking from the side of the painting to see where the paint stands up).

My hands! Thumbs up
The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call.
You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.

And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.

Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

Back in my high school days I dosed for a field trip to the National Art Gallery (kids, don't try this at home Laughing ) and spent a tremendous amount of time checking out the textured wallpapers instead of the paintings. I didn't notice until a friend pointed it out to me, but apparently it made the guards quite anxious. Big grin

Oh yeah!
And looking into one's own eyes in a mirror. Shocked

Oh, and one more... the full moon. Absolutely magical.

Absolutely! Seeing every single individual pigment all fitting into place like your skin is a fleshy jigsaw puzzle. All the little hairs that sprout up from the blue flowing river veins underneath.

I would say carpet was a big one for me. Especially with mushrooms in particular, where at least once every trip I swear I'm in a field of millions of tiny little mushrooms growing at my feet as the gently sway back and forth.

Ahhh... finding the pristine in the mundane. Indeed it is a beautiful gift given to us with these substances. I mean, how great is life when you feel you are constantly surrounded by infinite beauty?

When I first used dmt I wasn't near a breakthrough, but I was sitting outside in the summer. I saw the clouds edges very fractal like, and they looked so real. The trees with all their intricate branching and the green leaves swaying in unison with the wind. The sky was so blue, I had never seen a more blue thing in my entire existence.

I'll never forget a bee landing on me, on a bright sunny day, while peaking on 65g torch tea. I held my hand real close, examining, and it was doing the same. It knew...It knew. In those fleeting moments, we were one n' the same.

Insects are sooo cool on psychedelics! Very happy

- Seeing that "auras" seem to be made up of tiny, intricate moving interference patterns.

- Patterns in nature

- Faces in wood grain, usually demonic looking (to me)

- Seeing shadows and spaces between leaves on a bush or tree as part of the whole plant, instead of a "background".

- Observing newborn baby animals. Wow. Just wow. Ineffable.

- Tasting fruit (as if for the first time).

- LASERS. I've never seen light quite like this.

- Listening to nature or music (as if for the first time). SO intense and beautiful.

- Observing people in different situations, empathically sensing them.

- SWIMMING. It's a whole new world.

- Video games. Oh God, it's an alternate reality.

- Amusement parks, museums, festivals, concerts can be incredibly intense. (low dosage because of all the people)

- a few other activities that may be dangerous under the influence of psychs take on a whole new level (that I won't mention as it goes against the attitude of the community).

A common theme in observing "external" sensory experiences while tripping (and I use the word "external" lightly as all experiences are ultimately internal) is that you seem to experience them as if for the first time, as a child, without the filters of fears and preconceived ideas, yet with the intellect of an adult. This makes for a very unique, pure state of perception.

-trees! especially the leaves with the light coming through and a slight breeze which reminds you there are these currents we're moving around in always.

-space between objects and patterns weaving where you normally wouldn't perceive

-Any Large enough body of water, its all one object yet constantly shifting and folding upon itself.. especially paired with a sunset or sunrise absolutely intense.

Its pretty much a life achievement for me to look up at a completely clear night sky with the milkyway in great view with absolutely no light pollution, regardless if tripping or not but i would imagine it would be amazing.

That reminds me of an experience I had in the forest, miles and miles away from human civilization. Out of nowhere I suddenly heard this deep, rumbling buzz, and I knew - KNEW - that something was flying from far far away to me. I heard it flying to come land on my back. And suddenly, after I heard the sound growing for a while, something hit my back with a heavy thud. My friend came over and took it off - it was a giant, iridescent greenish beetle, unlike (and much larger than!) anything else I had seen in the forest. That was surreal.

once, while running through the woods on changa, i made it out into a meadow of high grass and then suddenly let out a gigantic burp. this scared the 3 giant deer that were laying down hidden in the grass, just a couple feet in front of me. I thought they were gonna impale me with their antlers on accident just after they jumped up, but once they saw me they did a 180 and hightailed it outta there

deer are cool Laughing
