Preparation of "set" for this first try of my aya brew has been a truly beneficial experience and has helped me hold tight to a path of personal betterment, and I share an update of this process to thank those who's advice has played a role. Intentions for this process are self awareness- breaking down my emotional and spiritual blockages and examining and integrating those experiences and aspects of self that I used to hide from. I preparaing for aya specifically, I've come to recognize how crappy my diet has been, and I've improved it and for that I thank aya. Also, I've had to deal with a futher reaching issue- opiate use, which I've struggled with for longer than I care to admit, most recently in the form of Tramadol; I cleaned out my system (3 weeks now and feeling 1000% better, yeah!) and also recognize how this minor and non-debilitating version of what has in the past been a debilitating problem is a total cop-out, and for that I thank aya.
As for the trip itself, the Caapi was strong but the Chacruna contributed minimally (not at all, I suspect). No visuals, but introspective insights for which I am thankful. Additionally, my fear has been tempered as I know what dosage of Caapi will be active and that I don't have a significant caffeine sensitivity or any kind of allergic issue, etc., and I am excited to plunge headfirst next go.
Luckily, I have an equal dose of Caapi left from the first brew and some Chaliponga waiting to brew. Since the diet and tramadol are in check, all systems are go for a more intense experience.
