I celebrated New Year's evening with several friends in a local club. It was a hippy themed party in a club situated on the 7th floor with a view over the entire city. Most people, including the group of people I was with, were dressed up in the theme of the evening and to compliment my outfit I had brought along approximately 150 µg of LSD. I had my blotters tested before using them the first time so I'm quite positive of the dose. I dosed at 22:30 by placing the blotters under my tongue, 30 minutes before we departed to the club. Over the course of the evening I consumed two cans of red bull and a lot of hash.
The beginning of the evening was rather uneventful and for the first few hours I wandered around the club, danced and smoked weed. About 3 hours after dosing I forgot who I was, where I was and what I was doing there. I knew I had taken LSD but it baffled me that I would take LSD outside of my own home, but I thought that it probably had a very good reason and that staying was the wised course of action. There were a bunch of people constantly coming up to me, they seemed familiar, knew my name and gave me drinks. I followed them around at times and they tried to entertain. I had full-on closed eye visuals and with open eyes I saw lots of fractal patterns and colors. Most people were dressed as hippies so I really felt like I was in the 60s.
At around 5 or 6 in the morning, as we went back home I started coming back to my senses and regained my memories of who I was. Pretty sweet night overall, but this is the part where the trip became very intense and interesting. As we arrived at my friend's place I was given a bag of ketamine. Ketamine is one of those two or three times a year substances for me and due to the festive nature of the evening I indulged myself. Over the course of 20 or 30 minutes I clumsyly took several bumps in an attempt to snort myself into a k-hole.
As the ketamine started to come up the world became more white and orange. At first it seemed like the world turned into a wet oil painting. The environment changed dramatically, the CEVs became more distorted, the colors all went a few shades darker(so blue became dark blue). Everything I saw became kaleidoscopic and as the ketamine's effect grew stronger objects deconstructed themselves. The oil painting became a world made out of clay, like a stop motion film. All finer details of objects were separate pieces of clay, so my friends eyebrows, nose, eyes, mouth, ears all were separate pieces of clay that constantly changed shape.
Everybody was talking to each other and as they did I could see some of their movements sped up and others slowed down and I was able to control the speed at which interactions happened as long as the overall duration of time wasn't altered. The clay figures were there for my entertainment and all their interactions and the like were aimed to please my eyes. At times the world would make a very quick and sort of snapping swirl around. It was hardly noticable but as it happened more often it became obvious that the intensity and complexity of the hallucinations became decreasingly complex and otherworldly. It was like a spring that would quickly unwind 1 winding at timed intervals and was amazing the see once I realized what was happening. As the world slowly unwound back to reality my friends slowly returned to flesh. Their presences no longer seemed purely for my entertainment value and the extra kaleidoscoped objects slowly disappeared from the table and environment.
Amazing night, amazing trip.
