he presents his videos well and has a following/view base, thats why people are writing to him even if he has only smoked a couple times. i just watched a couple of his videos in the channel and its not bad in my opinion.

although it seems most people here downvote/flag all dmt ingesting videos and there is quite the lengthy thread of it, i personally dont mind seeing dmt pop up in youtube and watching different people take it or talk about it

I can see the point.
The "bitch-made hamsters" comment got me to laugh. The nexus treads very lightly where it could be much farther IMO. Though safety and security doesn't make a "!##$$-made" anything.
Tho i don't see myself giving away my own anonymity and believe privacy is a right. These days we can be confident in our security with programs that have been provided for it. I think this means the nexus could move forward to braver things.
I was surprised that there were no videos directly produced by the nexus for informational purposes.
I believe the production of these videos could be non-compromising and keep other people from making videos that could hurt the cause. (Tho i doubt we should worry so much.)
Not showing our faces is for our own privacy and security.

Yeah, it's pretty unbelievable how disrespectfully something as powerful as Salvia was treated. Now it's illegal in many states.

It's one thing to post youtube videos talking about things like DMT, it's completely another to post up videos of doing it. There's no benefit and only loss with that.

The writer of that message clearly wasn't thinking too hard.

What does a face in an avatar matter? This is a legally questionable area. At least one member here has poked his head out in regards to the information on the Nexus and is, hence, findable in the real world - but this is their choice. Avatars with faces are discouraged here and it makes this place all the safer. I wonder what quality information Jerry is sharing with the public along with information that would help people find him offline?

He is angry about people here not posting videos? What difference does it make what format information is? Then to say that "and they expect the people to learn about quantum universe through electronic posts". Do we really expect to have any more understanding of "quantum universe" (?) because of a video? Did writing become irrelevant with the coming of the moving image? I am very confused indeed.

How was this rather confused and ill-thought out viewpoint relevant enough to be given time on this podcast? Is there really that little to say about the world?

I much prefer organized, searchable, interesting, community based information to a measly video any day.

If we even had a video stating the opinion of some key members (long time members) of the nexus on youtube, it would keep a lot of people from doing some stupid things. Keep in mind that videos can have a large majority of text information. (Simple as a nice picture with some scrolling words). I think the main point of having a channel on youtube could be to reach out to more people for safety (of others) and the security of nexus interests.
Or just continue watching them...

I didn't watch the video but sounds like a load of bonkers. Some things don't need a public agenda. If someone is ready to know, then it will be found appropiately imo.

Lets just see this on the bright side: at least the presenter of that channel talks a bit about DMT in a more respectful way than we have seen in a long time.

Maybe in time there will come informational video's from the DMT-Nexus, but when that comes it will not be because of pressure from silly people like Jerry. Besides, why did he not make a good informative video himself? Or is he one of those crazy people that talks incoherently about DMT on a video and expects that people understand and approve that?

Also, why does he bring up "quantum universe"? Here at the DMT-Nexus we like coherent and scientifically valid information, currently I don't see any correlation between DMT and quantum universe discussed as a fact on the DMT-Nexus so we certainly are not teaching people anything about the quantum universe here.

Maybe it might be an idea to invite that channel host to the DMT-Nexus and show him a bit more about what the DMT-Nexus is and where we stand for?

It is a bit scary, that some people are establishing themselves as "leaders in DMT".
DMT is not a cult but a way to open people up. Instead, they're still seeking for some sort of Kinglike figure. Demanding to put faces to DMT is exactly this - the need to stay in this hirarchical system we are so used to.

Who cares who uses DMT, seriously? It's important what it does to people. Bein open and all is fine and dandy, but there is a fine line between being true to oneself and being reckless and spiraling into senseless, ego driven political activism. At one point in your life you might consider this as the only possible way to change. But then, change does not start by pointing fingers, but by opening your heart and letting go.

This might also be the reason, why supposed brothers in spirit are attacking each other over petty issues. The need to make a point, to prove something. Well, you do not prove anything by shouting and screaming, but by living a good life.

So if Adam "The Man" believes that we need a leader in DMT and others believe that as well..oh well. I do not like it. But everyone is different and brings a different perspective. I just feel that diversity needs to be maintained and clinging to old cultural patterns does not help this diversity because it is really easy to fall back into these well known modes of perception...but that's exactly whaat many of us do not want. Hence the resentiments perhaps.

I second the notion to bring Adam to the nexus and all of his followers. The Idea of a Nexus Video is a good one and there is already a Workthread.

I'm sorry, but anyone that has delved into DMT just doesn't go spouting off at the mouth, making public videos, taking a leadership role, etc. If any of that's the case then they evidently haven't delved into DMT too too much.
