So I recently broke through on DMT for the first time, although I have done it many times before.

I took two large rips from a water pipe (first time not out of a bowl) and sat back on a bed; the come-up very similar to my previous experiences, leaving me feeling like it would just be another non-breakthrough. Gradually, I began feeling a warmth that increased over the next 30 seconds. Then, it was as if I had another set of eyes located somewhere not on my body, the sensory input from which completely overwhelmed (but did not eliminate) my regular eyes. These eyes were staring at something so fantastic and ridiculous that my brain couldn't process it, the mental equivalent to dividing by zero. Tears of awe were streaming down my face (and still were when I had come down). I was immediately aware that the strongest, cleanest euphoria I had ever felt was present in my body. I continued to stare at what I had been staring at previously, making mental notes not to forget that I had found something ineffable. I finally came down and was ecstatic.

I'm sure this is a somewhat common occurrence, I just want to hear what others on this forum have to say about this phenomenon in depth. From what I have read, most people can at least process what they have seen. I actually could not even comprehend what I was looking at.

This is almost exactly like my experience this morning. I made a post about it.

Can you try and explain what you were seeing with a little more detail? Was it an object/s, or more of a texture? Did it appear to be organic, or conscious? What kinds of colors were there? What was the "lighting" like? Dark? Light? Bright? I'm really curious. Check out my [only] post, and see if you can draw any comparisons.

One big factor that made this more profound than all my other flights was that I had an omnidirectional perspective. Normally I only see things "in front" of me.

Why are you looking hard with a hood on and timberland boots, staring at me for one hour, when you could walk up and shake my hand?
Why are you making those mean faces in your videos with the fish lens effects?
Why do you walk in the clubs with 30 people around you and stand in the corner, with big bodyguards for no reason?
Why do you pull up, in valet parking, with your benz, that is rented? Fronting on a cellular phone that doesn't work.
Why are you smirking up your face, making obnoxious facial scenes like I supposed to be scared?

This feeling of the ineffable is something I can sense while I am tripping. Seems like it's behind my trip. Sometimes I can get close to it but cant stop myself from forming ideas which seem to get in the way of my perception. I will almost stop describing, but then i'll start again and the descriptions distract me from completely letting go. Not that the distractions lack beauty, or intrigue in other arias, I just want to experience whatever is behind them, at the moment I can only experience through them.

I am probably not smoking enough.
