I was anticipating a proper DMT trip for a while before it found me. It started out with the conclusion that you don't seek it, but rather it finds its way to you. I got it as a present from a friend, the day after I dreamt about receiving the gift.
I started out with meditating, focusing my energy, clearing my surroundings, doing a collective prayer, and it was set to go. As I inhaled, the innate desire to stay connected flashed before me in the form of a string of words. "My name is ___, I'm at ___", and right after that, I completely broke through.
After an initial trip that I had before that, where I was being healed and reassembled, I met the entities on the other side and they sang me a welcoming serenade, but I got the message that I was not yet ready. I was told by the 3 faces that appeared at the center of a large, octopus-like presence.
Upon breaking through, there was an immense, all-encompassing bright white light, with symmetrical fast moving bright yellow-orange lines moving at warp speed on both my sides. I witnessed a very rapid acting, bright orange entity towards my right that was very fast in his actions. He was the one reassembling me into my new form, excising the wicked and implanting the light. Towards my left stood a tall entity that I felt was observing, and that I did not need to pay any more attention to that aspect. In front of me, a vimana with tentacles protruding from all its sides, with a giant mechanism at the center. Upon defining the basic form I was seeing, a tube exits the central mechanism, enters my body through my mouth, and is held in place via a mask that rested on my face. At that point, my (and I use "my" extremely loosely, as the idea of "I" completely vanished, and I was nothing and everything at the same time) Anahata, at this juncture, was vibrating with heat, ascending into my throat chakra, resting at my ajna, and emitting through my crown. As I was being healed, the ringing in my ears would alternately get louder and lower. I was hearing their song and it was utter bliss. It felt like I was home, completely at peace, welcomed by the entities, who were acting like there was a lot of work to be done in little time. After that, the tube was retracting from within me, as the vimana started rising and the lights got dimmer. I saw the underside of the vimana, which was very mechanical, with tentacles present. It slowly disappeared, and I was seeing very elaborate geometry for a while before I finally came back. I opened my eyes, the room was full of entities, the walls were still moving, everything was breathing and alive. I was speechless for 45 minutes. I boomed a chillum, and was only able to describe my experience after that. My friends pointed out that the laptop, which was playing music while the speakers were muted, started glitching, then it completely stopped..something which had never happened.
Following that trip, every consequent mushrooms trip included the octopus, who I now acknowledge as my spirit guide and my guardian from a previous life. It has guided me through my past life, my present one, and has helped me understand things which, before, I thought where unreachable and unattainable. It took me from trying to scientifically break down and explain everything and find a reason and explanation behind everything, due to my field of study and work, to just accepting that that is merely one way of explaining things, and is something extremely fragile and unfulfilling. And for me to have crossed a very fundamental way of thinking and life, I consider that to be immense on its own, disregarding the dozens of other aspects that surround the equation.
Not to sound like a walking cliche, it was utterly life changing, and I'm thankful for it every single day.
