First off I'd like to say that that the set and setting was awful. I was newly awake and I was about to go Christmas shopping with my mother ten minutes later. Also, I had no idea that my changa would be so strong. I had only smoked it before from a homemade plastic bong/vaporizer and so far it had never had such a profound effect. I had just received my brand new GVG that same morning and I was eager to try it out. I had no intention of jumping into hyperspace so I decided to just use some of what I thought to be "weak" changa instead of wasting any of my pure white spice.
I loaded the bowl and began vaporizing. It was a nice blend of Sage and Peganum harmala seeds enhanced with some leftover DMT and probably some trace amounts of Jungle DMT or DMT-N-Oxide if q21q21's speculations are correct. It was so much better than anything I had ever inhaled before. The taste was good and it was anything but harsh on the throat or lungs. Just sweet vapor. Then I felt it...
It was as if my body had begun to dissolve and my consciousness was starting to drift away into oblivion. It wasn't exactly a bad place, it was simply more than I had expected from what I was smoking. I also felt a heavy body-load but I guess that's normal with these experiences.
Then I became really scared. It wasn't an anxiety-type fear but more like a rational fear, as if I was about to be pushed off a cliff. My hands were shaking. I didn't experience any clear visuals (with the exception of melting walls), but then again I was too scared to close my eyes and see what was waiting me on the other side. If anything it was dissociative rather than psychedelic, something like a crossover between N2O and shrooms yet very unique on its own terms.
Overall, the journey had a very powerful and ancient vibe. My initial thoughts were "This is crazy... I'm never going to do this horrible drug ever again" but as I was coming back to normal I figured it was just a very powerful drug that should be respected, just as my experience with other psychedelics has always taught me.
The whole experience probably lasted for only about two minutes. Before I knew it I was 100% back to normal and the fear had completely vanished into thin air. That being said, I'll definitely do this some other time in a much better and stress-free setting.
