So I figure with the next of an endless line of predicted ends to society and the world now coming closer each day, I have a curiosity that I think others here on the Nexus have thought about.

What do you think people are going to do on December 22nd, after they realize that everything is still as it was and no massive catastrophe occurred? I mean, I see this as being bigger than the Y2K fear that spread around, there's more than likely going to be plenty of people who are going to be spending the 21st locked in their basements, watching the news, wondering when the bombs will drop, or whatever other silly theories they have come up with. It's the day after, when all of those superstitious people finally realize that the world's not ended and everything is as it was before, that I'm interested in, do you think that that type of person will have a changed outlook on life, perhaps having a feeling like they were given a second chance or something along those lines? I feel like if this supposed day is going to have any effect on the world, it's going to occur to the people that truly believe rapture is coming, that seeing their predictions are false will make them reflect on their beliefs or something along those lines.

I know I'm being kind of vague with this post but I'm interested on what others think will happen the day AFTER.

This whole thing is based on people who cant be bothered to listen to what the Maya actaully say about this time we are in. Yes, our time is special, as all times are..but the time we are in is a time of change it does not take anyone special to see this. That change is diffused over a certain length of time not compacted into one singe day(or stupid doomsday idea).

Yeah..new agers..appropriating native american ideas how they see fit.

I just hope that all these people focusing on one single day dont just give up becasue its now dec.22...If there is ANY substance to this whole idea of change it should be able to deal with a single digit change.

Or harp will throw some project bluebeam at us and all the new agers will jump for joy

It will be business as usual, you would think people wouldnt forget so easily, but they usually do. Then one day, someone else, will make a connection, and name some date, where once again people will freeak out. Ideally it would be nice if people would notice that one day prior to that day they were worried about the world as we know it ending and say to themselves "ok im going to do things different" but I just kind of doubt it.

Although I do believe we are changing for the better, we cant change for the better out of fear.

We have to realise how important love is, how utterly pointless fear is, then we can act out of love to better ourselves as a whole instead of just reacting out of fear.

Hi All, Im hoping for the economy to turn and house prices rise and a possitve outlook returns......
If the earth 'flips' over polewise over a 3 day (or 7) period we will all know about it. I might imagine a huge number of people either conscious or sub will be affected.... Be warned however, there is such a thing as a self-forfulling prophecy and the Nostradamus effect, and black/false flag ops......

In a kind way I hope something does happen, otherwise there will be a lot of disrespect for our ancestors. Obviousely in a real sense I hope nothing happens, I wish to see my kids finish school etc.....

But, deep down I am so excited and feel so privillaged to see this great event, my whole ancestral linage suviving for this great event. I remember 40 years ago talking of this moment.. wow..Its GREAT to be alive now....

yes, 2052 was the second closest end date i had heard until now, but i did think it would be too long a wait (people are impatient to fear the end of times, i won't be too shocked if the new date to be afraid of is even closer than that [2015? i have no proof the world won't end then]).

I work at a restaurant and bar... something's telling me it's gonna be full of people celebrating that it's not ended (whether they believed it or not) just because they can, doesn't help the bar's a block from a college campus...

On the 22nd the alignment will still be occurring and this is were the real effects will take place.

A flow of ideas that we must grasp and bring to the the light, if not then go about your existence and let these ideas fall to nothing.

We can only hope that the serious ones will be here to take in new ideas for a better living of life.

On a side note, The thought or idea, of being filled with many ideas or consciousness in way charges me in a energetic way, and it makes me think of all the energy in the world everything is made of energy.

Just think about energy and absorbing this energy on the 22nd, just the thought makes me warm, i feel energy filling me from the heart and spreading through out my body. it feels very Euphoric, the thought that the very sun gives us our energy and our very neural thought patterns.

Idk recent thought and discovery of this has seemed to be just filling me with an energy filling feeling.

What do i feel like? i feel like i want to share it with everyone.

I concluded that so many people will be anticipating it that the hectic tension will result in a lot of people creating their own catastrophies (raids, increased crime, the bidders on the stock market getting scared and pulling out too much at once and making a pseudo-Great Depression, etc). Kinda like self-destructive behaviour because you're expecting the world to end anyways.

DoctorMantus - You feel to me like you've got an almost excited anticipation in your mind, like you're expecting something big to happen, but not in the cataclysmic doomsday way, I can say that I feel a stronger connection with people than I previously thought I could, only time will tell what's really gonna happen.

I've been looking at Timewave Zero lately. It looks like novelty ends on 22nd December 2012 and then things start to pickup again. So I think that's one theory out the window.

We may have a record number of experience reports on the 22nd. Certainly the biggest SHE(s) ever on the 21st.

One nice thing about the whole 2012 deal is that it has a concrete expiration date, unlike the rapture.

2015 is when that Jumpin' Jesus doubling-of-events graph gets down to a doubling every millisecond or so, straight into unsustainable land. Shortly after that we would need all the resources of the universe to sustain the next millisecond's worth of doubling- then what happens in the millisecond after that? But I can see this resolving itself non-catastrophically, like most things. But for some folks, 2015 could be the next 2012. An apocalypse for the short attention span.

Im so tired of this garbage from flaky people I might just do nothing on dec.21...not trip or anything like that. Then continue my work in this world on the 22nd becasue the world will still need that work. All the people holding their breath have at it..

I know people that actaully left Vancouver because psychics(really $$$$ ones) told them that a tsunami wave is going to come, roll over the glacial capped mountains of vancouver island wash right over through the gulf here into the mainland and break the continent off at the canadian shield..LMFAO!
