You couldn't pay me a billion dollars to take marijuana. I don't really like coke anymore. I'm scared of ecstasy. The one drug I'd like to try one day is Ayahuasca, which should be mandatory for everybody. It's apparently this crazy tea that gives you these intense hallucinations. Everyone who takes it sees a wise old black man who takes you on a wild journey. I'm not going to name names, but everyone who takes it sees the same black guy. I'm not kidding you. Everyone! My drug counselor did Ayahuasca with Sting one time and Sting spent an hour chasing a bee through Joshua Tree.

I saw one wise old.black man once.

I've seen many farmiliar white faces.

I've seen thousands of hot anime girls.

I would not use either one of these stats to describe the experience because it doesn't scratch the surface.

What!? You mean when you're on Aya, Morgan Freeman doesn't show up and start explaining everything that's happening for you? How sad. That's how it's supposed to work, you must be doing it wrong.

Every time he does it, he gets another freckle.

I need to get your Aya recipe, that sounds like a lot more fun than snakes and aligators.

I've also seen anime girls wrapped in snakes!

I went through a period of watching anime and reading manga... A lot.

May explain it.

You do not have to see alike, feel alike or even think alike in order spiritually to be alike

Ridiculous celebrities jumping on the hot news for some attention. Courtney love, sorry but you have no place advocating these plants, seeing as she has no clue what she's talking about. Sting however I kinda get a kick out of that endorsement.

The power of some voices...

By seeing the same black man, did she mean all of her friends see the same shaman who takes them on the wild journey(ayahuasca)? She's out there, but can't be that out there can she? Unless she's getting pranked.

Strange, her having never tried it but still saying it should be mandatory for everyone.

What to expect though. I am now doubly sure I won't go to Courtney Love for my drug information.

Like it or not, Aya/DMT is part of the cultural lexicon now and will only gain in popularity as more and more of these "celebrities" mention it in interviews as they try to reinvigorate their relevancy.

Become self sustaining and you'll be insulated from the increasing government oversight with regards to these substances and their precursors.

It's like one of those articles in The Onion - 'Guy in Detroit Learns about New Thing, Must Mention it Constantly Now.'

It must be tough to lose one's 'relevancy'. Crying or very sad
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

Man, that south park reference just made my day Laughing

well played sir, well played.

As far as seeing a black guy when you take aya, yeah thats a bit of an outlandish claim. But to nit pick at her choice of language is a bit of a fools errand. It sounds like while a bit misinformed, the claims she is making about aya are a hell of a lot better than some of the crap I've heard.

She's probably just hacking the meaning out of communicating the incommunicable, which while isn't great or necessary, its impossible to describe an aya experience or entity contact using words. No wonder it sounds a bit lolish, give her a break people.
"let those who have talked to the elves, find each other and band together" -TMK

In a society in which nearly everybody is dominated by somebody else's mind or by a disembodied mind, it becomes increasingly difficult to learn the truth about the activities of governments and corporations, about the quality or value of products, or about the health of one's own place and economy.
In such a society, also, our private economies will depend less upon the private ownership of real, usable property, and more upon property that is institutional and abstract, beyond individual control, such as money, insurance policies, certificates of deposit, stocks, etc. And as our private economies become more abstract, the mutual, free helps and pleasures of family and community life will be supplanted by a kind of displaced citizenship and by commerce with impersonal and self-interested suppliers...
The great enemy of freedom is the alignment of political power with wealth. This alignment destroys the commonwealth - that is, the natural wealth of localities and the local economies of household, neighborhood, and community - and so destroys democracy, of which the commonwealth is the foundation and practical means.” - Wendell Berry
