Hi Everyone,
Before I jump into the details of my experience, I wish to quickly run through a brief history of my past experiences with psychoactive substances.

In the past, I have tried many different substances, simply as a curiosity.
I was someone who did not see the vast appeal of alcohol, which led to me looking for deeper, more meaningful alternatives.
This lead to my experimentation with Marijuana, 2CB, 2CE, LSD, Ecstacy, Mushrooms, Mescaline, Nitrous and Ketamine.
I found each of those to be useful in their own unique ways.

Early last year, I found DMT through a chance occurrence with a close friend.
At the time, I did not know how to use it to its full potential, as such, I believe it was wasted sinking it in bongs and the such.
I definitely saw the promise and potential of this powerful substance, but only a glimpse.

In the past week, I had decided it was at last time to perform an extraction on Acacia Confusa bark.
This extraction resulted in goo...a very powerful goo, mind you.
The past week or so, I have experimenting with this psychoactive goo.
The goo, whilst not winning any beauty contents (or being easy or clean to handle) has been quite powerful when used in combination with my vaporiser.

Last night, I decided to try a combination of Syrian Rue with vaporised DMT for the first time.
I did not wish to try oral ayahausca or pharmahausca, as I was unsure how to dose oral DMT...without some guesswork.

I took the Syrian Rue tea (extracted from approximately 4 to 6 grams of ground Syrian Rue seeds).
Around 20 mins into this, i felt relaxed, and another 15 minutes after, my vision changed similar to a mild stimulant.

These changes included shifting of my visual colour pallete to extenuate and distinguish bright colours from the rest of the spectrum, this also made lights more noticeable. I am sure anyone who has taken stimulants can relate to what I am saying, the way that fluorescent lights are very noticeable while under the influence.

I decided it was time to blast off (to infinity and beyyyyond Smile
I loaded up an indeterminate amount of goo into the vaporiser, deciding to simply test the waters.
I popped on some Shpongle to listen to, and turned off the lights to enhance the experience.

As I started to breathe in the vapour, I noticed the effects came on smoother than normal, in an almost delayed manner.
The sound came alive and eveloped around me in such an amazing way.
Not only does sound have a tone, but a physical and tactile emotional response, unlike anything I have felt before.

Shortly after this, my closed eye and open eye visions were almost the same. It seemed that it didn't matter where I looked.
It felt as though a brilliant artist was drawing the most amazing art of the inside of my brain (it was far more pleasant than it sounds, but it honestly is the only way I can describe the effects).
The artist was never happy with his work, and revised it constantly every fraction of a second.

When I got up to walk to the kitchen, the darkness became a very dark and distant void, It became almost impossible to navigate my house as the tiny amount of light that I would normally use to navigate was hidden among the visual disturbances.

After this, I decided to listen to some of Alicia Keys new Album (Girl on Fire).
This sounded...incredible, her voice was pure perfection.
I then decided to watch a movie, and decided that Limitless would be an interesting movie to watch at the time.
I never noticed how trippy some of the sequences are, and could almost relate to how a particular substance could unlock potential (not to super human levels demonstrated in the film, but definitely above a baseline).

The peak effects lasted around one to one and half hours, and the total effects would have lasted around 3 hours.
After 3 hours, I think it was just harmaline effects.
Overall, the experience was amazing and will definitely be the way I experience DMT in the future.
There was no nausia of sickness to speak of, which I was quite worried about from other posts I have read.
I do certainly feel like a break, I felt both mentally and physically exhausted afterwards.
This i believe is a good thing, experiencing this frequently would only devalue the experience.
I can not wait to have close friends experience the wonders of a similar experience.

Thank you for reading. I hope my first trip report has been an adequate read.
After all, I am a programmer, my dictionary consists of 0's and 1's, I try my best to make English work for me Very happy

Peace to everyone at the Nexus Very happy

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Nice report.
One of the advantages of doing things your way is that you can have more control over the timespan and peak than most other methods. eg, if you know that a certain dose of harmala will keep you inhibited for 4h, then you can smoke your dmt dose anytime in that 4h period. So, if you want to go VERY high, but only for an hour, you could smoke the dmt at the 3 hour mark. With a bit of practice you can even make it shorter. This allows you to go much much higher if you wanted to.
This method also allows you to have a normal 1h trip, which might be suitable for people who don't react well to psychedelics, or for first timers.

I like your analogy of the artist and their lack of confidence in the paintings painted, I can relate to that as a general theme among my experiences both visionary and mundane.I like to see it as a case of my mind (or some tendency within me), seeing the inadequacy of the idea to truly represent what I am experiencing, panicking and loosing the ability to stop and rest at any single point, causing me to continually reconceptualise again and again what it "is" that I am, being, doing, seeing hearing, finding, looking, just trying to pin down that "something", and at the same time seeing the overarching similarities between all these ideas as they string past at a sometimes incomprehensible speed. So my mind like a wave, washes over the silence of true experience, subjecting silence to its trivialities. I'v been trying lately to stop defining my experience as I am having it but this is seemingly very difficult.

This is a terrific trip report and I really enjoyed reading it. I like that you listened to something you wouldn't usually listen to. I'm looking forward to exploring the astral plane with you in the future.
