I think you shouldnt expect DMT trips to be like anything. Yes it can be a life changing experience, you might catch a glimpse of mechanical elves and whatnot. It also can be dark and terrifying, beyond explanation or you might not even remember anything at all! Sounds to me like you've inhaled enough to get you somewhere. maybe not to breakthrough levels though, cant say for sure since breakthroughs are different for everyone and everyone interpret them differently. Also i think you shouldnt try to force yourself to integrate your trips, it sometimes took me months to figure out what different things meant and sometimes there was no messages at all to integrate expect nothing and accept everything If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't.
CosmicFool is a fictional character, a creation of imagination, and everything written above should not be taken seriously, or perhaps read at all.

Quote:expect nothing and accept everything Smile agreed. What you mention also seems similar to 'the void' which many people here have visited

this sounds like one of my first break throughs, or semi-breakthroughs. i distinctively remember what looked like the wormhole on the show "stargate" and seemed like i was going much faster than the speed of light. at the end of the tunnel it was just a big empty space, no entities or anything and couldnt focus. the background colors of the space was changing and very vibrant and seemed like everything was happing too fast. when i came back i was shocked but i was still like "is that all, what are all these people talking about, are they exaggerating and making things up?" some trips have nothing at all in them except space and sometimes very hard to notice what you are looking at. other times you may just be somewhere else and have things shifting and morphing around in front of you. each trip changes but has some similarities, and will always shock you. once you learn the feelings of dmt and know what to expect you can usually keep calm and pay attention better. some trips are extremely bizarre, with entities and space ships, a whole lot of different things. every couple trips ill have, what feels like, a meaningless trip and feel a little let down, but each experience is different so be prepared to have your mind blown if you plan on doing it more =]

This is a potential destination that pops up for me from time to time. I call it "the darkness". It is usually inky black for me, the first time it happened it almost obscured my entire vision, a weakly pulsating inky blackness. I threw on the lights to ward it away, and the darkness shattered into white skeletal dinosaur-like ghosties, moving in the most disconcerting way. Until I fell asleep later in the night i could "feel" something watching me, an eery feeling. I don't know what variables might lead to these experiences, although for me it was only after a period of daily DMT use, about one week. Since then I sometimes get close to that place, but I've never fallen so suddenly into it. I forgot to mention that during the dark experience I outlined, there was an odd feeling of sleepiness or heaviness... I wanted to sink into the ink. It took a strong command to whatever was producing this darkness to get it together enough to turn on the bring light. It's not all colors and fractal elves... Nothing has shown me such existential terror asDMT (not the experience I list), but through it have seen things rarely glimpsed by man! But I have learned to hold it at arms length, even after the best experience take lots of time before using the stuff again. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I was feeling quite alot of tension about breaking through. I broke through twice, it was amazing but on my third breakthrough, I was outside my body and there was absolutely nothing. It didn't feel right as well. I got the feeling that I was being prevented from seeing anything. When I explained it to my sitter, I became aware of the fact that I felt absolutely at ease with it this time. I was actually ok with the body feeling which used to bother me. My sitter then told me that it was possible that that was indeed my message. That I needed to feel at ease with it. So keep at it and you will eventually see more than you can ever fathom. There will be NO DOUBT when it happens. Happy travelling. No expectation is key. One time it could give you apples, then the next time it could give you the Godhead in all it's shining glory. Smoking pure freebase in with weed or another herb-like substance can be tricky in order to achieve a 'full' experience due to burning ze- spice/combustion/vaporization issues. Try, try and try again.

You speak of "the void" which is notorious with hyperspace explorers. Complete ego death and utter nothingness, some whom I've talked to that have reached it are horrified beyond reason while others enjoyed it. From what I know it can be reached with both DMT and Salvia. It's as well known as the hyperspace insectoids or machine elves.
