Wow a lot of good discussion.

As far as 2012 there are many prophecy and predicts, I searched end of the world failed predicts, and on Wiki you find a very long list, A lot of Religious predicts, return of Christ, antichrist, people that have studied their whole lives done all the math, a few meteorologist with meteor predicts, planetary alignments, and so on you can check it on wiki, but These ideas have been happening for a long time through history, I don't exactly know what it means, why have we been always predicting the end or our demise. I know one thing it's not happening for no reason.
There is some significance for sure.

To Even think of the world ending is a privilege.
Terence M.

Another thing that got my attention from Terence a little random but just came to me, Is that the trouble we face is our level of communication, for instance when i am speaking to you, and you think you understand me, I cannot assume that you fully understand what i mean or what i am trying to say, assuming that our dictionaries are the same, they are not. The world is made of language and many humans if not all struggle to be understood.

^ Robert Anton Wilson talked about this too starting in the late 70's, he called it the Jumping Jesus Phenomenon. There's plenty about it in his books. I think he runs the numbers a little differently than Moore, but here's a little video that combines his take on it with Mckenna talking about novelty and singularity. Looks like it's from a longer film I haven't seen yet but will have to check out (http://www.technocalyps.com/).

Thank you so much crazyhorse for posting that, I finally got the chance to see the whole 3-part documentary and it's the most fascinating and thought-provoking thing I've seen in a long time. It is exactly about the most interesting themes that we talk about here.. Brain uploading, human genome, robotics, cyborgs, AI, nanotech, cryonics, singularities, religion, gods, messiahs, aliens... Compressed into a 3 hour datapacket. I honestly recommend every nexian to watch it, and watch it with thought.

I just wanna get naked and go around screaming how exciting being alive is, there's so many things , so many variables , so many possibilities.. I LOVE LIFE GODAMNIT
