OK so AFOAF has decided to use a jungle spice mix to make the first batch of changa... I see a lot of people using 10X caapi and was wondering if you guys bought it like that or can it be made? AFOAF has one or two ounces of caapi leaves + 200 grams of S. Rue seeds and wants to know if he can make his own 10x or 20x caapi with it and how... If there is a link to a Tek, that would be GREATLY appreciated. The caapi leave looks nasty!! They dont look like nice green leaves that one usually gets when they order different types of herbs, they look like they were taken right out of the rainforest and bagged up. Thats probably because it came from the rainforest ha! So he wanted to make sure that's normal for the leaves to look like that.

So AFOAF is going to start with a gram of the jungle spice... He also has the Rue seeds, is that how people add more harmala to the mix? Im sorry if these are newb questions but Im new to the forum and still trying to learn my way around hereBig grin

Even though the caapi leaves are completely legit, AFOAF has tried smoking it on its own and it seems a little hard to smoke because the leaves are so thin... Also he felt little to no effects from smoking a bowl of just caapi leaves. Is that because there is not a high amount of MAOI in it? My foaf and I REALLY appreciate the help you guys have been. This is truly a great community Very happy

You can easily find all the answers you need in the Wiki. There's several teks for both caapi and rue extraction.

https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/Category:Extraction_Tek#HARMALAS

Also, in order to get significant psychoactivity from harmalas you need quite more than a bowl of caapi leaf. Extraction or tea are the ways to go.

Since this question falls in line with the name of this thread, figured it was a great place to put it.

Here is my "new to Changa" question...

Does one need to observe the same dietary precautions when smoking Change with B. Caapi leaves in it? I have my first batch of Change ready to go and wanted to be sure as to what dietary precautions (if any) I should observe. I know the restrictions for oral MAOI so I am not asking for the list... just if I need to observe it for Changa.

Can't wait to test drive my Changa....Thumbs up

No there's no need for a special diet with changa. Since the MAOI goes straight from your lungs to your bloodstream, it doesn't interact with the food (and the tyramines) in your stomach like it might if you were taking the MAOI orally.

And actually some say that since it's a reversable MAOI, you don't really even need the diet for oral dosing. But I don't know the truth of this for certain so I still do it.

Edit: oop someone beat me to it Smile

No direction but to follow what you know,
No direction but a faith in her decision,
No direction but to never fight her flow,
No direction but to trust the final destination.
