I've been reading around the net, and some people talk about how Bufotenine gave them way more intense psychedelic experiences than DMT. I've never tried DMT, but I'm a bit surprised, as always thought of DMT as the most powerful psychedelic. I've read countless DMT reports of people having astral projections, being rocketed through wormholes in hyperspace and talking with alien entities only to be spiraled back into their own body after a dramatic out-of body experience.
For example see the comments on 5-OH-DMT in the wiki:
https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...%28bufotenin%29_from_DMTSWIM consumed 5g of P. harmala seeds over the weekend, and waited a couple hours, but didn't really feel anything. Then SWIM decided to measure out 300mg of A. colubrina var. cebil roasted seed endosperm powder mixed with 1/7th pickling lime. After reading that a first-timer should not snort more than 250mg of the snuff, SWIM decided to push the envelope just a bit. So, 300mg was divided into four lines and snorted through a straw. No effects were felt the first minute.
SWIM had read a lot and concluded that these seeds were definitely to be taken in close proximity to a bathroom. So SWIM decided to hide in the bathroom for the duration of the experience.
Then things started to ramp up....quickly! by the end of the third minute SWIM's head was pulsating and bright-colored squiggles filled SWIM's vision and moved around at a million miles per hour. A sort of loop thought began, but was quickly destroyed because of the speed of the entire experience. Chaos ensued.
At about minute 7 the nausea kicked in and SWIM, who had been drinking water all day, tried to throw up violently. No success. So water was frantically located and drunk, and immediately, SWIM began to spew. About the first hour of the experience was horrid and SWIM was not sure if she would live through the experience and could not tell if she was breathing. SWIM began to wonder if she would ever return to "normal" and put that thought in serious doubt. SWIM was lost to insanity, and realized this is how the girl from the exorcist was able to turn her head 180 degrees.
Thoughts about SWIM's funeral entered her head and she could hear people talking about all the great things that she was about to do in the world if only she had lived. All the wonderful dead people: Martin Luther King, JFK, Bill Hicks, George Carlin entered her head.
SWIM wondered how forensic teams would ever be able to successfully piece together the enigma that would be her own death. Breaking the glass of water and cutting herself, hanging herself with her own entrails...so many morbid thoughts that would have investigators scratching their heads for awhile. Insanity set in...SWIM cried and tried to fight of the negativity through meaningless affirmations: "I'm OK...I'm OK...Mommy...mommy, etc. etc." Language is weird and many random nouns filled SWIM's head. At one point SWIM started saying "kumbaya my lord, kumbaya" over and over again.
Eventually the peak came and went, and a plateau ensued that was characterised mostly by euphoria. From Earth to Hell to Heaven and back. SWIM thought about the beauty of this planet and reveled in all the tapestry of biology. Killer Whales with a brain twice as large as a human's, and they use 60% of it. SWIM began to comprehend on a deeper level the interconnectedness of everything. Wonderful thoughts ensued. A sense of all possibility. Seeing the matrix. Empowerment. All possibility. An excited state of optimistic anticipation. A wind rustles the trees...waiting for the aliens to land. What would happen tonight? We are going places tonight, that's for sure!
In conclusion SWIM remembers at the height of euphoria repeatedly thinking, "time is on our side!" This was originally what SWIM said to pass the grueling minutes of insanity towards the beginning of the experience. Yet it took on a deeper meaning. "Time is on our side!" Despite the chaos of the world: endless wars, environmental degradation, financial tyranny, Fukushima reactor 4....there is still hope...time is on our side! One other parting thought, which seemed to cap off the euphoria: "Love is DEFINITELY the answer!"
This was the strongest trip SWIM ever experienced.
---
I can't imagine a much stronger experience than this one, but this experience involved no travel through hyperspace, entity contacts, astral projections, etc. Yet it was such a strong experience that SWIM was clutching onto the toilet bowl for her dear life.
