REPORT

As I inhaled, a feeling of calm washed over my body. I am of the opinion that the US economy is going to collapse soon, but as the DMT started to take effect I was hit with an overwhelming sense of, "everything is going to be OK." I saw some geometric closed-eye visuals and had a slight feeling of being "lighter" or floating. I was still "in my body", but I could no longer feel my extremities. It actually felt quite good, kind of like the feeling of taking your shoes off after a hard day's work. Shortly thereafter I came back down.

My partner had taken about the same dose as I had. His experience was more powerful than mine. He insisted that I try it again in >2 hours in an attempt to modify my technique and be more efficient.

The second time around was not as pleasant. This time when I inhaled, I got the familiar tingling feeling, but with a slightly different humming sound. I closed my eyes and laid back, my face pointing up at the Christmas lights suspended from the ceiling. I could see the blue hue of the lights through my eyelids. As time passed, the light shining through my eyelids got brighter and brighter. Concomitantly my body became extremely cold. I shivered violently. The blue and white light of the Christmas lights (as perceived through my eye lids) became less smooth and more needle like. I felt as though these "light needles" were controlled by some nefarious entity and were piercing/probing my body. There were no visuals and as such I can only report that I "felt as though" these entities were doing this. My partner and I became concerned about my violent shivering. I put a big grin on my face and remembered the calm/loving feeling I had earlier in the night, and became unconcerned about these entities. The fear melted away. I came down a short time later. As quickly as the shivering began, it stopped. It was like an on/off switch.

I have not tried DMT since, but I will be making appropriate modifications to my technique when the time is right to try it again.

Good report.
Maybe try leaving the body with no electricity vibes around.

Hi centromere,

Thank you so much for sharing that experience with us. I wonder why 40 mgs wasn't a full on and more visual breakthrough type experience.

I Big grin 'd at the Christmas tree light reference - we have those on our bedroom ceiling too, with a see through psychedelic paisley tapestry over it.

I almost always get very very cold (like you did) when I smoke DMT. My husband has called it "the drowning reflex," referring to blood rushing to the central mass of the body. I have taken to bundling up - like putting a sweatshirt on and then using a blanket - before blasting off. It helps with the shivering a lot.

Thanks again for sharing, Very happy. I sure hope and in many ways believe/endorse the message you got in the beginning.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
