My introduction via a humble wooden VP and a bed of green tea crowned with refined white spice.

It came on with a neon version (outlines only) on black background of snake like tentacles descending down on and through me. Tubes filled with glowing dots like aboriginal serpent paintings. Looking into a light then shutting your eyes quickly can imitate the density of these images.

Curiously I opened my eyes and my room was the same but I simply couldn’t recognise it.
I highlight that this was a feeling more than a visual distortion. The room did however seem much more 3D than usual when spanning my eyesight maybe due to a subtle binocular effect. There was a slight internal, euphoric feeling as if seeing something for the first time; perhaps a striking piece of art or the clouds below from the window of a plane.
A second pull procured a further lack of recognition to my surrounds; this time my own body.
I further examined my arm to prove this, “yep, just as hairy but…still not mine”.
I speculate that alien abduction experience could be a misinterpretation of this phenomenon.

Everything was comfortable / controllable and fun up until now but things changed rapidly. I was no longer in my room but a floating computer generated box with high contrast pulsating walls. My vision broke down into pixels, evenly spaced and carefully alternating in an array of primary colours. I observed that there was a lack of gradient and diffusion on the colours. This followed by a dissention of a series of interlocking fractals warping in a similar way as my reflection on a round glass surface.

Very noticeable was a very smooth linear sliding scale in intensity whilst approaching this point.
Here however was a distinct trigger point whereby my conscious faculties, that had been judging the effects against my previous life experiences, were directed off par. More accurately, my frontal lobe was stunted, diminishing any immediate judgements or analysis of the goings on. Left holding the fort was my sub/unconscious and the primal, uncontrollable reactions that accompany it. You know, when man suddenly sees lion and his mind is silenced to a state that will best serve him.

Each interlocking fractal now attained a distinct flat border consisting of alternating squares. The border whilst hugging the edges of these fractals was not static instead tracked around the warping fractals at a higher speed almost to entrance your vision towards a series of focal points.
Colourful descriptions aside, a mild familiar car sick feeling overwhelmed me and to my absolute frantic, almost physically chocking shock, these visions pulled my mind and body apart in different directions. This morass of moving art silently gravitated my parts and dissolved them into itself like puzzle pieces. I was now completely fluid while still being localised and swaying / rippling like the surface of disturbed water. Due to the amazingly unique properties of this sudden experience and I emphasize the word unique, I metaphorically flinched. This ended the experience immediately.

The summit phase described here could have consumed less than 20 seconds but because it was NOT an intellectual exercise, NOT a witnessing but rather an engaging, all-consuming and direct experience, it had me replaying its dynamics in memory for a week.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I did utter a few swear words that will not divulge but when replayed through my auditory organs sounded something like ‘blaaa wooki booby pop’; such a failure of expression that I promised to abandon any future attempts. (I hear this may be a generic happening)

In finishing, despite realising that I had died for a few seconds, I do not want to brand this experience as spiritual or religious. I feel it would be contrived of me to condense it to a personal interpretation so instead I will just conclude with the one word statement … Cowabunga.

Hello,

I'd like to point you toward the attitude section, specifically the part mentioned here.

As you can see, arranging meet-ups is not something to be done on this board for a variety of reasons, no matter how tempting it may be.

Realize that even though we may not be physically together, you are never alone in your explorations of Hyperspace and the whole Nexus is here with you!Very happy

Edit: Regarding Borris's report, it's very awesome! I particularly enjoyed the shift in narrative from 1st person to 3rd person as the experience took hold, and how well this shift paralleled that which was actually happening in your experience. You expressed a lot of abstract sensations which are characteristic of the experience quite well!

One question: Do you think that this was a breakthrough experience? Why/why not?

Cowabunga indeed!Big grin
"The peak experience might be likened to a spot on a mountain top from which the surrounding panorama may be viewed; yet being on the top of the mountain does not supply more than the possibility of seeing, whereas this process of observation is different from that of mountain climbing[...]insight is distinct from the mental state from which it originates, and constitutes the result of a creative act in which consciousness at a certain height is directed toward what lies below."

Hi Precog,

Was this a breakthrough experience? Well that's just semantics but I have since had a striking and painful experience of which I can use as a baseline. The trip outlined in this post most likely was on the cusp of breakthrough, perhaps achieving a sneak peak.

The other episode I refer to included a Nintendo (NES) themed holographic room and a stereogram, 3d styled 'Shiva/Kali' that had me wanting out Smile I can only assume this matches the 'entity' concept mentioned throughout this site + by McKenna and so I deem the second as a breakthrough. I also find this mind boggling especially as I am agnostic of all belief systems and am ignorant on the topic of Hindu mythology.

You just made me think of a burning question that I'm going to put forward when I find the correct area on this forum... How an organic squiggly organ such as the brain with fuzzy dreams and fluid day to day imagination can somehow produce such a structured well engineered and digital product when combined with spice...
