so the other day when i was picking shrooms i was thinking in my head "fu&$ these look alikes where the hell is the weilii" and right as i turned my head as i thought weilii i saw a patch.

and once i was driving down the road listening to that sublime song where it goes "down in mississippi where the sun beats down from the sky" and there was lightning directly in front of me right at the word sky. and i live in ms.

synchronicity is so awesome to witness. i need to start recording all my synchronicity experiences. anyone have any awesome memories of synchronicity?

Just yesterday, I was driving along thinking about the order I recently made for some Mimosa Hostillis seeds, and how I plan to go about growing them and such... then I stopped at a light and looked to my left... and there by the road was a mimosa tree. I've probably driven by there a hundred times and never noticed it before. I thought "no way that's a Hostillis, has to be some other kind", then I noticed it had big spiky thorns just like hostillis do... I'm still not 100% sure but it definitely looked just like one, and the climate here actually makes it a possibility. I'm going back soon for photos to post for a postive ID. If it really is one, I'm going to clone the hell out of that thing!

I've been wondering about this possibility for a long time now..(since I 'understood' quantum mechanics)
I've also been trying to manifest a brief case with a million bucks but that is a bit of a stretch..

So 'Synchs' or 'actual manifestations' from thought to the 'real' world..??

I never know where to begin when someone asks what kind of synchronicities i've experienced. this is mostly because i just don't know where to start..A lot of them just make people sound insane to others.. a lot of them take a while to explain.. and i also do tend to lump 'precognitive' dreams, psychic, and synchronicity experiences together when explaining, because they're often inter-meshed to begin with anyways. the difference can get pretty murky, and lay open to interpretation

for example, earlier today i was talking to folks about a dream where me and the roomate where in a department store just as it got ripped up by a tornado. after waking up, i saw on the news that a tornado had touched down right by this roomates hometown (neither of us have ever even seen a tornado, living in the NE and all..)..Would this be classified as a "precognitive dream"? synchronicity? or is it all just coincidence?

stuff like this is something i experience daily, to various degrees, and i've been documenting for many years in conjunction with a dream journal..although i've been pretty lazy with writing lately

nexus syncs are also abound at times..Just a sort of mundane example: an hour or so ago in the chat dreamer042, a few others, and myself were discussing some of our most bizarre dream experiences, precognitive dreams, etc..In the middle of all this, FoTwenty happens to join the chat. He was really shaken up and baffled because he'd just had the most mind blowing sleep paralysis/obe/dream he's ever had, and tells us all about it

but in relation to the driving/song sync you had...

last night we turned on the radio on the way home from the store (haven't used a radio in months! heh), and caught half of rage against the machines song 'bulls on parade'..as we pulled in the song was ending, and we were talking about how our favorite song by them was 'killing in the name of'. This morning when i started my car that was the song playing..it was like 2 seconds into the song as well

searched up and down and didn't find a "synchronicity thread" just threads that have the word synchronicity in them etc. i've also been writing a few of mine in my dream journal

Synchronicities (whatever they are) are really cool. I'm trying to jog my mind about all the examples I've experienced over the years.

One happened, I can't remember when or under what circumstances, when I picked up my cell to call a friend, and the split second I hit "send," I got an incoming call from that very friend. Because I hit send at the exact second he called, when I put the phone to my ear to listen to the dial tone, he was saying, "Hello?" I didn't understand what happened at first and we were both wilded out!

But things like this happen most frequently (or are noticed more frequently, if they're just coincidences) when I'm on mushrooms.

The first time I ever took them, I was with a sober sitter and, with no clock on the wall or other way to reference the time other than the watch my friend had on his wrist, I announced the change of the hour ("It's 1:00" ) three hours in a row, exactly on the dot.

And this one isn't exactly a synchronicity, but one night a friend and I were sitting around a fire, grooving in the friendly weirdness that is shrooms, and we had this old crummy radio. We turned it on, just as we had many times before. Usually the weirdest thing you hear on the radio is a bad commercial or the odd evangelist preacher. Well, as soon as we turned it on, a voice from the radio screamed at us, like someone dying violently, accompanied by some of the wildest, trippiest sounds I've ever heard, sober or not. It sounded like a recording of humans being bombed by alien invaders.

Me and my friend scrambled around and took cover behind some stumps, then desperately tried to change the station. When we tried to find it later, we couldn't.

God, after we calmed down, I've never laughed so hard in my entire life. I thought my innards were gonna tear in half.

Way way way way way way way way way too many instances to even begin to share my experience with synchronicity.. it is a part of life.

Recently, while weighing out some lime with my triple beam scale I looked down and noticed, for the first time, that it had a big sticker on it that said "NEXUS". It was a gift from a friend and I never noticed this was the brand of scale I had.

If I had never gotten into DMT I wouldn't have joined this forum and I wouldn't have agreed to take the scale.

you bring up a good point that i forgot to include entheogenadvocate. WHAT do you guys think about synchronicity?

I think it could be part manifestation; part looking for and thus finding/manufacturing, and part ask and recieve- communication with god/ourselves.

I think we are getting to know god/ourselves/existence better.

One day in high school (and I had been reading about quantum mechanics/manifestation) I was still struggling with my thoughts on religion. I figured I should try praying because I only have really done it less than a handful of times probably. So riding my bike home I offered up my sincerest prayer that if Jesus really did exist than if he would please show me in some way; with gratitude I then forgot about it and continued on my way home.

A few minutes later I make it to my street; and in the middle of the road is a blank yellow card about 5"x6". I stopped my bike and picked up what I assumed to be litter: and (lo and behold) the other side prolaimed "Jesus' Tree Service!"

I had a good laugh. It could be Jesus answering. It could be the Devil trying to get a foothold with his "attraction and manifestation magic". Maybe it was the universe/god saying "pretty close" and/or a hint at the power of the transformational process as spoken of in the Mayan page quoted below. I still enjoy reading the bible; I used to flp it open to read at random when I needed insight and there would be synchronicity there. Pretty interesting correlations with our time as well.

A couple days ago I needed to chop some dead weeds and I thought "I need a machete for that". I immediately looked down and laying half buried in the dirt and under some weeds at my feet was a machete that must have gotten dropped there at least a year or two earlier. I picked it up and went on my way.
