Hi everyone!
SWIM would like to share a beautiful experience he had this morning with a Caapi leaf tea. He brewed three dried leaves with 1 cup of water and a small shot of vinegar for 10 minutes. He drank it on empty stomach first thing in the morning. He was expecting some nausea, but was pleasantly surprised to find it not causing any discomfort. The effect came on rather quickly, already after a few sips a shift in perception could be noticed. After half the cup a mild euphoria started, along with great relaxation. To his great surprise, there was also a aphrodisiac effect, something SWIM hadn't felt on any Caapi experience before. The euphoria and relaxation intensified a little more, but stayed mild in general. After maybe 45 minutes the relaxation made SWIM tired and wanting to go back to bed ;-) But after some noodles and a tea more energy was coming.
It was very, very enjoyable and seems to be the perfect tea before going to sleep. SWIM will definitely experiment more with dosage, and adding in the light.
Best wishes to all!

I'm kinda surprised you could feel anything off 3 dried leaves, but it's cool that you had a pleasant experience from it. I don't have that much experience with caapi (only used it several times - I'm more of a rue/extracted harmalas guy) but I remember one time I smoked some dried caapi, it was intense. There was some nausea, and the room was wobbling, and I was having DMT'ish hallucinations. It's almost like the patterns were the skeleton of the DMT experience. Sometimes when I vape DMT on harmalas or take aya/pharma I've noticed the "pure" DMT patterns being superimposed on this "skeleton". "Science without religion is lame. It's funny that same thing happend to me the first time I smoked a bowl of guayusa (testing it for quality for enhanced leaf) It only took 2 days until I realized that I had smoked some spice in the same bowl about 2 weeks beforehand lol REALITY 5.0

So I maintain that the patterns I saw were a result of the caapi and not any residual DMT. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

Well I'm getting more and more amazed by the many combinations and ways to use caapi. I'm surprised too that 3 leaves are giving that experience, it seems they're pretty potent. Also, for changa it's really amazing to use just crushed caapi leaves with the spice. This actually became swims favorite combination. The leaves by themselves are absolutely strong enough to open up the aya spectrum, but still the 10x extract needs further explorations.. Dried caapi leaf + spice is just so simple and nice.
It's really powerful to know that one incredible plant inside out and to know how to work with it well. There are so many way of using it & getting all the ratios and ingredients just right.. Tomorrow swim wants to drink 1 tablespoon of pulverized vine, see how that goes. Not yet sure why he wants to try that, but maybe there's something to be discovered here.

I have like 4oz of caapi leaf and absolutely love it. I usually take 3-4 leaves as well, crush n' ball them up and stick them in one of those little 'brewing wire balls' and pour boiling water over and steep in cup until cool. Blood red color once finished. Very mild taste and a wonderful relaxation before bed or even during the day. I usually roll caapi leaf joints and go on hikes and smoke them. But the tea lately has been proving to be just as strong..if not stronger than smoked. I concur

Why is this OP post in "First Steps in Hyperspace" I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention by using totally fictitious verbiage...........
The above refers to the fictitious 'I'
