fortunately i live in the same area that i always have, so i have got a couple of old patchs that i used to go to as a youth to check out. i live in a pretty rural area and there are green fields as far as i can see, so there are lots of new patchs just waiting to be discovered.

Octobers weekends are now accounted for.

I live in the scandinavia, but tomorrow I'll be heading out for a mission too. I already tried a few weeks ago but I think it was too early and warm. But now the weathers are colder and it's been raining alot.. Perfect occasion to go play hide-and-seek with liberty caps and amanitas! I wish lots of good luck to everyone else too..

There's so many psyilocybin shroom varieties the mind boggles. Do some google research my friend. They may well even be liberty caps. Sometimes shrooms can be deceptive when identifying, crafty critters!!

Put it like this, if there's plenty of these then collect them and THEN get them checked. If it's a few, leave them, ignore them, they are probably bunk. When shrooms are abound, there's usually plenty of them.... plenty....Drool

- So far possible lib caps, azurens.....

Just very curious as I've never seen a Blue shroom in these parts before (UK).
Looked just like a small Golden Teacher that I know and love from OZ..except for the gills...

Thanks for the input christian

Could be a possible Psilocybe caerulipes, aka, blue foot.

some of the google images results look similar, some completely different.

proceed with caution

Definatly not a liberty cap or an azurescen. Azures are woodlovers for one..and they look nothing like that. They have carmel caps for one which is a dead giveaway that that that mushroom there is not an azure..

You should make a post @ the shroomery. There are a lot of talented identifiers over there.

You could also check paul stamets "psilocybin mushrooms of the world", here's an online copy:

http://library.kisps.net...20-%20Paul%20Stamets.pdf

Maybe they are psilocybe caerulea...
