I did this with pastels shortly after my first hyperspace experience.
It's the best simple 2-D interpretation I could come up with at the time.
More to come soon.
Thanks stuff.

Death is an awakening. . . One day it will come.
But you'll search the skies with your eyes in frantic wonder.
You will come to realize the lies you've told yourself for so long to survive.
"We fear something that does not exist."
Not only does death not exist, we ourselves do not exist.

Thats really awesome! I've created some pretty crazy stuff after a good session. Eyes seem to always be a theme in all my art lol

That's cool, I don't know why eyes are so important. Sort of like windows to the soul, I think everyone should post their art, I'd love to see some of yours. Smile

Expressive work parallel. Personally I've always had trouble getting pastels to come out right for me. Have you played with any other media? I'm also curious what other icons besides the eye you find are regular themes. Keep exploring. Smile

Also, though I realize some people are new members, there's an entire section of the forum dedicated to artwork.

My personal thread is here.

I haven't had much success with anything other than pastels, and my artwork by far pales in comparison to yours, I appreciate the compliment.
Eyes and dividing lines are the two most prominent things that come up when I try to make my artwork random.
I'll definitely be posting in the artwork section when I become a not so new member.

If you are most comfortable with pastel, I'd like to recommend trying black paper. The bright pastel over the black paper seems like a great analogue to the bright visuals we experience against the dark backdrop of the void. You can create much more convincing luminosity effects that way.

Thanks guyomech, I'll try that, black paper is alot cheaper than canvas anyway. Smile
