Just finished trying a small amount (20mg)and thought I'd post my experience while it's still fresh in my mind.
Forgive me if I ramble too much. I find myself not posting on many forums because I have a hard time condensing everything I want to say into a concise set of ideas. I'm constantly editing myself as I type and never seem to get out what I want to say. See, there I go already.
Anyway, as the title says I tried this with my Volcano vaporizer. I used one of the liquid pads specifically made for the Volcano. The temperature was set to max (9 on my non-digital version) and I used a small sized Turkey oven bag so I could get as much into my system with the least amount of hits.
I know that for some 20mg is more than enough, but I say small amount because I'm not sure that the whole amount vaporized as well as the fact that it was a "light" experience. I felt like I was just swimming on top of the water and in no way dove down and submerged fully.
I was in a great frame of mind, relaxing late at night after work and just had 2 beers, but not really buzzed. Was watching a movie on netflix but put it on pause before inhaling. Just the quiet night and crickets chirping. No music playing or any other distractions to interfere.
I kicked back in my recliner as I inhaled and closed my eyes. I saw extremely complex fractal geometry pulse and surge. I tried not to examine any part of it too closely just wanting to go with the experience. When I did try to focus in on any one section it seemed absolutely infinite. Very fractal in nature.
My whole body was tingling and buzzing. My tinnitus also rose in volume quite a bit, which was somewhat uncomfortable but not unbearable. My heart rate also shot way up even though I didn't feel anxious during the experience. I got the feeling that with a proper breakthrough dose these types of sensations would be fleeting and pass as the journey progressed.
It's hard to describe but I could also hear a cacophony of echoing voices that ebbed and flowed with the fractals. These were totally separate from the sounds I could hear in my surroundings (crickets/faint voices of people walking by on the street, etc.)
I really liked using the Volcano. Like others have said it's a nice way to ease into things. Next time I think I'll put a bit more in the chamber so I'll have a full breakthrough dose in the bag from the start.
Even after a light session like this it makes me really nervous to think what a full breakthrough will be like. I totally understand people's "pre-flight anxiety" much better now. I feel like next time I should just go for it.
I'm very much a perfectionist and like to be in control at all times. I know that "letting go" is helpful in breaking through. I'm hoping my experiences with this substance will help me get better at "letting go" in everyday life as well.
Well, no more rambling for tonight. It's getting late and time to go to bed. Thanks for listening!
