Hi,

nothing spectacular, and really not advanced either, but since its not an extraction but a re-x I didnt really know where else to post.
I heard on the chat from reliable sources that a simple dissolving in acetone or mek helps to wash out residual xtal enclosed naphtha and hardens the spice, changes the smell of it and generally improves quality a bit, so I thought I give it a try, since its really easy.

So all I did was dissolving it in mek and evapping it, and yes I confirm its harder and it smells more of spice and less of petrol.

Not much to add really except for some pics maybe.

Is that the re-x? What color was it when you started? Did you do an a/b or an stb? And finally, how was it?

it was more white before. The source came from drytek lime naphtha, freeze percip. In the snowglobe it was white, as it always is, the finished material was off-white.

After the mentioned re-x with mek it became more reddish. I couldnt really care less about the color atm. I might aswell dissolve it again in naphtha, minimal hot amount and wait to see white needles and cubes growing like candis, but the whole point of the exercise was to get rid of petro enclosures, and I can definitely and confidently say it has less of that now.

I can actually smell the difference.
