Hello all

For those who don't know the term, bain marie is a hot water bath, a method to keep a substance from reaching a higher-than desirable temperature. At sea level, it won't go upper than 100C.

I've read in some places that the vaporization temperature for freebase n,n-DMT is around 70C - is that correct?

If so, would it be a good idea to vaporize dmt using a hot water bath?

I had bad experiences with various methods - being the heat over or under the desired point - that's why I'm researching an alternative.

In a bain marie, DMT might evaporate slowly, or oxidize, but no way you can evaporate it fast enough to have any significant effect from it.
You don't need evaporation, you need vaporization.
