Hello!

Some 'Heavenly Blue' seeds were ordered from W.S. Supply and germinated inside before moving outdoors. Two plants are currently growing, and one displays the characteristic blue flower coloring. However, the other plant's flowers are a sort of pink/purple! I had assumed that someone at the supply company made a mistake until I saw this pic on Erowid.

Does anyone know if it's possible that this purple-flowered plant is indeed the 'Heavenly Blue' (read: active) variety and is just expressing an unusual trait?

Muchas gracias!

I've been growing heavenly blue's for awhile now.

They open really blue but as the flowers start to die at the end of the day, they'll start getting a pinkish purple color. So what you've got looks pretty normal to me.
