swim is wondering if anyone has extracted rue in the same manner they extract dmt.. he has myriatic acid, naptha, and lye at his disposal. boiling is not an option so the rock salt method is out of the question. ...

I was thinking about soaking the seeds in water + myriatic acid for a couple days, filter, let water & acid evaporate.. Shouldn't this provide good results? ...

Don't use hydrochloric acid (myriatic acid). Use acetic acid (vinegar). Harmala alkaloids are very poorly soluble in hydrochloric acid and can actually be precipitated from it causing a loss of yield. They are extremely soluble in acetic acid. All tests shows acetic acid is the best for harmala alkaloid extraction. You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.
If you see me at the waterpark, please say hello. I'll be the delusional 50 something in the American flag Speedo, oiling up his monster guns while responding to imaginary requests for selfies from invisible teenage girls.

ILPT would wisely avoid vinegar too. Why not get some food grade citric acid and go for pH 6-6,5. Hm? tropane wrote:swim is wondering if anyone has extracted rue in the same manner they extract dmt.. he has myriatic acid, naptha, and lye at his disposal why would one waste naphta, naoh and hcl for tek working just with baking soda, citric acid, water and salt????? As a kemist I never met ILPT in physical form and never talk to him. He share his wisdom, trough my mind, telepathicly only. Please don`t prosecute me, for his possible illegal activities. He is bonkers about chemistry and doesn`t even exist in this primitive reality !!!

What about caapi too? How soluble are freebase harmala alkaloids in naptha? what's ILPT stand for? ...
