I have done dmt once before and it was a brown powder not knowing any better i smoked it in a bowl as u would bud and it worked a little bit. Now a year later i am ready t o try again and have crystals and have learned alot that i was doing wrong last time. I also now know that crystals are more potient or so im told. I do not have nor can i find a scale to do mg and would like to try a 20 mg hit. any advice on what i should do as far as weighing out my hit.

Buy the scale, wait until it arrives, smoalk then. No need to rush.

It is just my opinion but I don't think it's really necessary to weigh out a DMT dosage unless it's for some scientific purpose..

If it was DMT ME0-5 It should definitely be weighed out but I would not bother weighing regular DMT.

I just smoke hit after hit until the sensory distortion gets so overwhelming that I cannot continue smoking anymore. And that is my dosage.

DMT may give you a simulated NDE but it won't actually kill you unless you managed to take a 1500mg hit

Personally I see quite marked differences when varying dose, with traditional pipe/bongs and even moreso with the GVG where I can get the whole lot down in one go.

Vaping properly 25mg does very little, 30mg removes me from this reality and 40 and up isn’t something I want to do too often.

I from my experiences feel weighing the doses is necessary but not quite to the extents some may take it, I just have a simple 0.0 gram scale, and weigh out .1 grams, split into three for a 33mg hit roughly, or two for a 50 mg hit. Mostly I was doing sandwich method between two layers of cannabis either in small one hitter pipes, chillums, or sometimes in small dry bongs. Is this GVG I keep seeing an acronym for glass vapor genie? That's my best guess anyway, if not, what is it? And don't be too harsh, as im all n00bish and stuff.

Yes, the GVG is the acronym for the glass vapor genie. It is IMO the best way to vaporize spice. I use a volcano oil pad inside instead of a screen and it works wonders. I usually eyeball my own dose, but I'm using a 5mg scoop so it is roughly measured. When friends want to try, I always weigh it for their and my peace of mind. I would recommend the GVG over any other method I've tried. Welcome!

If you have enough to work with then just take your time and slowly ramp up your doses.
start small work up . don't get too hung up on exact milligrams etc.
there is no tolerence from my experience. It just keeps going.

As long as the apparatus is clean and not overloaded with old spice that could cause problems in dosage.
