I got about 25 seeds, and germinated 2 of them to start..I got alot of diff acacia seeds and just germinated 2 of each type incase they are not as easy as mimosa to germinate..I killed one confusa that germinated real fast with too much water..but I have tons of the seeds so I know now I think how to deal with that tree..

One of the acuminata seeds germinated real quick too and I trasplanted it the other day. I was in a rush and was sick with the flu and tired..and I was not careful enough. I broke half the tap root off and also snapped the stem..but it was still intact. I planted it anyway in a new pot and put it under the lights with all my mimosa trees and now days later it is still growing and is starting to put out its first set of mimosa type leaves! I have never seen a plant just recover like that! I hope it repairs the area around the stem quickly where it bent and really does survive..but man it seems like a real hardy tree..

This might be a good one for everyone to try growing..hostilis and acuminata both seem to be real survivors.

Long live the unwoke.
