The term "blow your mind away" is so, so true!
I undertook my first journey with the utmost respect, watched by one who had travelled many times before..
Everything began to blur, quickly I handed the pipe away as I knew it had begun; suddenly I was being violently catapulted at warp speed. As the reality of what was happening started setting in so to did the fear and sheer terror. I desperately wanted to escape or take it back but knew that there was no getting out of this. I tried to focus on words or affirmations of love to stop or slow things down but I was literally losing my mind fast, soon I could no longer think or rationalize. Here I was in some other universe, my body no longer existing, I was no longer me but now a part of everything, I was everything. The magnitude of this experience was overwhelming and unbearable, extremely bright colours, beautiful shapes and formations was all there was, pulsing, vibrating all around. I was left with no choice but to give in and surrender and that is when my fear turned to joy and love, I then embraced the beauty and fullness of the experience.
Many parts I cannot remember as well as many parts that I cannot find words to explain, one thing I will never forget is the feeling.. which cannot be understood unless it has been experienced!
This miniscule life, this existence is but a spot of light that dances around a room when a crystal is hung and spun in the sunlight, a mere reflection and small portion of the beauty of the crystal itself
Verdict: An awesome experience (words just cannot do any justice)

IME this isn't necessarily true, even seldom so actually. I'm always terrified, yet I've done more breakthrough doses than I can remember, I believe that if you take enough spice, you'll always be scared to some degree. It's a learning experience and you do whatever feels right, go with it, surrender to it, fight it, run from it, dance with it, love it, fraternize with it, whatever you can think of, try it. Mad, bad and dangerous to know.
There's magic out there!

Will I do it again? Most Definately TimeCat!
In many ways I am so over this boring and mundane life, I long to journey and experience outside of these confines.
I hope I am better prepared DeMenTed.. one thing I learnt that I will take with me next time is to let go and enjoy!

I'm sure I will be in for a suprise, no doubt there will be a healthy dose of nerves beforehand and always a measure of respect.

You've discovered an essential key for "navigating" hyperspace, soulATP. Things will get plenty intense, and there's little point in trying to fight it in a situation in which resistance is (usually) futile. "Letting go"/surrendering can take the darkest of situations and flip them on their head. If you're patient enough to sit out the storm and let it have its way with you, there's usually dams and dikes of light and love just waiting to flower for you just around the corner. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead

I wish I would have read this before I blasted off for the first time (my 5th time ingesting the deems) last night. It was just...simply TOO REAL. It was like having my eyes opened, but my eyes were obv shut. After I saw strange beings I got scared and opened up my eyes. But the "other place" continued to interfere with "reality" and I began to see the other side WITH my eyes opened. I nearly had a heart attack and I could of sworn the apt was shaking.. If theres one thing I learned, its that I should not run from it...but simply let it. "I'll tell you what hermits realize. If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet, you'll come to understand that you're connected with everything." ― Alan Watts “As long as you have certain desires about how it ought to be you can't see how it is.” ― Ram Dass “Everything changes once we identify with being the witness to the story, instead of the actor in it.” ― Ram Dass

Just bathe in the bizarre, appreciate the quirky, and above all else: don't panic; it's almost over "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
