Jamie, care to say a bit moar on psychedelics nad gut health ? Do you suspect the fungal infections are effected by caapi, ayahuasca or just both ? Any personal anecdotes of gut health improvement that you feel was due to brews ?
Got GVG ? Mhm. Got DMT ?

I know of a moderator on this very forum who had extensive 2nd degree burns completely healed during a ayahuasca ceremony...

What, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this...

Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged into numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
Find
Itself
Innumerably.
-Sri Aubobindo

I definatly feel like both caapi and rue help fight off fungal infections and kill off parasites. This is one of the ways rue is traditionally used. It has been shown to kill off a number of parasites in cows also.

All I can say is that since I began drinking ayahuasca my digestive health has only gotten better. I am sure I must have had parasites before and all the harmalas would have killed them off I would think.
Long live the unwoke.

My gf and i had some pharma 2days ago, we prepared it with extracted harmalas form rue and fb dmt.

After a while my gf complained of heavy gut pain and had to go to the bathroom, anyway a heavy cleansing began and she had to purge from downstairs so to speak.

Anyway afterwards she looked alot thinner and got rid of a bloated sensation she´s had for a while now.

So even if caapi contains something else except harmalas that is good for these things i still think the harmalas have a big part of the cleansing effects.

Anyway the day after i had a similar but not so heavy cleanse myself, i also have some black caapi aya mixed with mimosa juice in my freezer, really thinking about drinking that tonight Smile

The most effective therapeutic painkiller for me has been a mix of cannabis and salvia. This works much much better for me than cannabis alone also I've found that the salvia body buzz can be focused consciously and used to massage sore muscles.

This tends to be my choice as of late. Throw some mushrooms in there on the weekend and you got it Pleased

I use mushrooms to treat cluster headaches. LSA seeds work as well, but mushrooms seem to be the preferred choice, for me at least. All the medicines I've tried (and there were many) did not effectively treat the pain. Only psychedelics have been able to relieve it and make my quality of life go up drastically.

I've treated some chronic knee pain with Cannabis very successfully. Other medicines work, NSAID's and such, but I don't like to take those unless absolutely necessary. And it's not necessary if I just take a couple tokes of good quality Cannabis. The pain is almost instantly gone and doesn't return for extended periods of time. I took a toke of some kush and had pain relief for more than a month! One toke! Very happy

I've had kratom treat the same knee pain, but I didn't enjoy it all that much. Still, it was effective. Don't know if you'd consider kratom a psychedelic however...

I've noticed digestive issues have been resolved after a night of drinking ayahuasca. And I have only drank it a handful of times. I notice the same healing properties with pharma.

So I use psychedelics for both the physical and non-physical healing properties they possess. I'm very grateful to have access to such wonderful medicines. When I think about what my life would be like without them, it really makes me appreciative.

When I was able to take LSD once a week, I found it alleviated my back pain one hundred percent. It alleviated it enough to last me a few days, and once it started hurting again I was ready to take my dose. Though LSD has proven to be an awesome pain treatment for me, it is impossible for me to take it that often now, and I find that frequency of use a little excessive, for me.

As far as physical healing goes with psychedelics, I really doubt psychedelic's ability to slip three of my disks back into place, these claims are unfounded and bland in my experiences.
β€œThe most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

My first experience with LSD and healing was about a year before I dosed, when I became instantly aware of my muscular condition as I entered a house full of people frying. My (very few) acid trips have all been incredibly useful in recovering from my neuro-muscular dysfunction, and the insight I gained from them hangs around and continues to help me. I have never found a more useful and effective tool for integrating my body and mind in a way that allows learning and healing.

Serendipity... Oh baby, oh baby...

One my best friends had his pet allergies disappear during a changa session. I'm completely serious, but the event was so crazy (in both my eyes and his) that it still deserves a smiley Razz

(To explain the story, during the subjective trip he remained more-or-less in the room, but this crazy robot entity ripped through and started scanning him... after a couple of scans it shot this weird beam into his nose and after a few seconds his sinuses cleared up, and his life-long pet allergy disappeared. I have a dog, and his nose had always been stuffed up at my house since we were kids, but apparently pet hair/dander no longer bothers him at all. We're both a bit puzzled by the whole thing, but as you can imagine, he's hardly ungrateful Wink )

I watched my DNA being modified to remove my allergy to cats whilst on a dose of miprocin... yet to find out if the 'changes' have been successful, but it seemed very real at the time!

Its funny, although Im a fairly regular cannabis user vaping mostly, oral has a bad reaction for me, however cannabis has never done squat for any of my chronic back and shoulder pains from work related movements over the 17 years ive been tattooing. Im always envious of other's that get such good relief from marijuana.

I have suffered from IBS, irritable bowel syndrome, for the past 12 years and right now after 15 plus aya ceremonies my digestive track has never felt so good. I do strongly believe that ayahuasca and beta carbolines have healing properties. there is also a documented in medical journals case of a women that lost her hearing at a young age from a viral infection had it completely restored after 1 ayahuasca session. She did this with the Shuar Indians in Ecuador and is also a doctor herself. I wish I had a link but I just read it in a book i read during my stay here in Peru.
