Namaste nexians,

Somehow I'm fascinated with the idea of adding dream herbs (for now, S. capensis, S. kirkii, and A. amatymbica) as my leaf base for changa. My changa is generally 25% DMT and 50% caapi or rue crude extract with the rest being leaf by weight.

I have a friend who always adds these dream herbs to his ayahuasca brews (along with nearly every other admixture he can get his hands on!), but I wonder if anyone has any negative experiences to share re: combining dream herbs with changa/aya.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good source for cheap, whole dream roots. Most places sell the powders, which don't keep as well (esp. kirkii, which so far has been my fave). I'd like to get maybe a kilo of mixed roots. I read that a small bundle sells for one dollar in South Africa.

Thanks y'all!

peace and love,
joel

I haven't noticed much while using calea z. but I've only tried smoking jel caps and smoking and not as a tea. Now Guayusa tea has profound effects on dreaming plus it tastes nice but in the last few days I've been smoking cebil seeds and noticed I've been having some very real dreams.. This should be tested a little more, not to mention smoking these gives off a nice buzzCool

I drank 5g of calea tea some days ago,it tasted terribly but sure worked on my dreams. I must have had 10-15 different dreams, and judging by those I remember they were very vivid and graphical too

I've used calea z in changa and it make me purge every single time I smoked it. It affected others like that too...
It was definitely some funky stuff!

weird...most people using calea in changa gave me positive feedback. i guess it's up to the person. many people purge with rue for example, but im ok with it

A nice hyrbrid cannabis oil goes really well with the various "dream plants" and aya, if you'd like a gentle nudge. A dime-sized dab in your brew will pretty much get you halfway there from the jump Pleased It's a really great way to prep your guts for an Acacia brew or some smoked changa or honeyspice... though you may want to go easy on the mimosa with a lot of cannabis. Things can get a little... weird, haha!

I am hesitant to use cannabis along with aya, since, as you say, things can get "weird."... I mean, things can get confusing even without cannabis, but I'm guessing MJ just makes that problem worse.
