But when I tried to take a power hit in it was a bit harsh. I'm using a test tube with two holes in the stopper, one that goes to a hollow copper rod (for inhalation) and another as a carb. At the bottom I put a burned out ball of stainless steel wool.
What's really interesting to me is I'm nervous (preflight anxiety) before hand, but once it takes over I feel absolutely calm, more calm than Chuck Norris fighting 20 ninjas calm. For me I think the key is to take a small amount at first then after that I have the nerve to do more.
In the small amounts I've been taking the effects are what I've experienced before after self induced natural OOBEs. Like when I come back, it feels just like small amounts of the spice. So no big deal so far.
I've decided to up the dose to 30-40mg and try to blast off on my next try. I think the hard part will be putting the pipe down where I feel it won't possibly start a fire, and taking enough hits and holding them in. I guess I'm just going to keep hitting the pipe until I no longer physically can. Blast off in the next few days or sooner woot.
Thanks for this website and resource.
My first smoking device was also a test-tube setup like you describe. Having tried many different types of devices in the years since then, I can say that a test-tube vaporizer is incredibly inefficient and produces very harsh vapor. Try the machine or make some changa. Both will provide much better results. If funds allow, get a GVG.
Going from 15mg for a first try to 40mg on a second try isn’t a baby step – it’s a huge leap. Proceed with that in mind.
Good luck!
