Actually it is not against the law in the US as the religious use of a sacrament is protected by the first amendment to the constitution. I just thought it would make it seem a little more legit to the public if ordained ministers were involved. I may be something to consider even though it is online and thus kinda fishy it is legit you could marry people after doing so. Either way I'm down and think it is a great idea.
I think we have to say that so long as it doesn't Physically harming other individuals. As there can always be an argument that some behavior mentally harms another individual. However putting someone in jail because they get high is physically harming them and they have not physically harmed anyone.
How about so long as my pursuit of happiness doesn't interfere with your pursuit of happiness let me be. I wish that was in the constitution.

If we reduce our rule to only physical harm, that makes things like psychological bullying acceptable, which it isn't. The concept of whether or not 'harm' occurs is tricky, wow... and as notions of harm are cultural, maybe we shouldn't get into it too much otherwise we could quickly become outdated :/ Yes I did see a nice quote like your one about happiness once, we could put that on the certificate too  Yes it's not against the law in the US if the government 'allows' it under religious freedom, but as the UDV case shows, they don't do that until forced. For most of us outside of the US, we're not 'protected' by any religious legislation yet, at least there's no successful precedent yet. Coatl- sure they could say stuff like that, but they wouldn't be justified... they would have to prove that your 'drug abuse' was 'ruining the family', which I assume it wouldn't be doing in your case. The certificate of membership and wallet-sized membership card can now be downloaded. Please leave a comment to say that you've joined so that we can keep track of numbers. I hope they're acceptable enough to look at... my foaf isn't a designer so it wasn't easy getting these together! They're meant to look recognisably "certificatey" and official, in the hope that the authorities wouldn't laugh at them too much. With the membership card, it may or may not be advisable to carry this around, depending on what country you're in. It may be prudent to only carry it on you when you're carrying sacrament, perhaps stashed in the same place so that it's only found if the sacrament is found. You can't read it? ;/ I guess that's probably for the best in some situations! It just says 'The Jurema Way', 'DMT is our sacrament. Hyperspace is our place of worship.', then 'Name...' and 'Date...'. So that if you got busted carrying it you could show them that straight away to show you're a member, in the hope that they'll then treat you with a little more courtesy than if they just think you're a 'druggy' or even worse a dealer. Print it out onto some thick card so it looks nice and official... maybe even laminate it if you can do it neatly... anything as long as it doesn't end up looking like a home-made fake ID! The problem with this is: It draws unnecessary attention to Jurema. DMT is already illegal, so it should be not Problem to call it "the DMT way" or whatever. Moreover, jurema is not the only source and plays no other particular role in this way of worship.
