If you are making a tea with powdered caapi, I'm guessing it is a lot harder to filter/strain because it is in powder form right?

So shredded is probably the way to go? I found 450 grams of caapi online, but it is powdered, just want to make sure it can be used to make tea.

I just received some powdered vine myself. Not my preferred choice. I think the best way to deal with it is to let it settle for a bit after boiling and decant most of it off, then strain the remaining sludge through a t shirt or other fabric. I know I'm not looking forward to it! on the upside, I think the boiling time could be cut in half compared to coarser material. good luck.

I hate brewing powdered vine but it works. Get shredded if you can..if you get powdered I'd do what they ^ suggested. or maybe even let the brew sit overnight after each boil if you can, then decant and filter

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

Ok. Thanks for that. I will try and get shredded, but at least I know powder will work.
