Yes, this was a small glitch that happened since yesterday. The service has been restarted and it should work again.

For some reason we are no longer able to link to a specific post within a thread. For example, if I wanted to link to freeradical's post directly above mine, I know the url is And if I paste that url into my browser, it brings me to the post. But when I try to link to it, the "#" in the url is replaced by "&replacenum;", and the link instead brings you to the first post in the thread.

I believe this issue has only come up in the past month, as I don't recall any difficulty linking to specific posts in the past.

I can't edit my profile. Clicking save or cancel does nothing. I've tried IE, Opera and Firefox, to no avail.

The Chat Reset is not working. I tried it twice and the errors continue to persist.

I don't know if that's just my phone but since some time ago I can not use my phone to read threads any more.

The problem is when I make the text bigger to be able to read it it will not shrink as it used to. Normally it would adjust to my phone screen so I do not have to move it from left to right every blooming sentence

It is so difficult and annoying to do this . And this problem was not there before its just started recently. Can someone help ?

I've noticed the same thing with my browser. I always zoom in to be able to read whilst laying back, until recently zooming in would have the page arrange itself to make the text larger whilst keeping all the boundaries within the page. So for example the banner at the top would stay the same size, the "quote" and "show quick reply" buttons would remain against the right hand edge of the screen, but all the text would be larger. Now it just zooms in paying no attention to content... so the banner gets bigger, threads go off the side of the screen and I need to scroll right to see them etc. It's easy enough solved in Opera by clicking "fit to page" but I need to do that every time I come to the site, not sure how to solve it in firefox but the problem occurs there too. Doesn't really bother me, just thought I'd chime in since it seems likely that it is the same underlying change that is affecting smokerx's phone.

Same here, it only happens if I set my preferences to detect mobile though.

It is happening in any thread I choose to read. And I am 100% sure it was not happening at all a while ago. I am using the same phone.

Date: 2-3 days till now
Forum location: Noobie posting section and new banner thread.
Description: I get images all messed up. So I look at the names of the people who posted and they will have a different avatar from someone else. Then refresh and it will flip again to yet another one. But if I go to the main page then it flips back. This will also happen with the smilies and avatars.

Once I even saw a virtical line of just smiles going all the way up the forum behind all pictures.

Reason for glitch:
Are you sure you are not feeding the forum drugs?? Or is it a natural high? (on chronic cyber gigabytes)

If you go to edit your nexus profile you can uncheck the detect mobile option and it should work like before.

I never had it checked in the first place

I tried to play with preferences but is did not help. I tried to go on shroomery.org to see if it would be the same but on shroomery it worked ok as it was on nexus before. So because others reporting same problem and my tests I came to conclusion that it is not my phone but it must be some change on nexus site that is causing this.

I hope it can be sorted if not then not more nexus on mobile for me

Im having some threads "cut-off" at the right side, like this very thread.

I just updated to firefox 11.0 for ubuntu (I had firefox 4 before) and the problem remains. Here's a screenshot, check the right side the "show quick reply" button

Cancel that advice, mine isn't working anymore when I uncheck the box either.

Any chance that this glitch will get sorted ? What do you think Trav ?

When I have more time I will go after this one. Currently the courses have a higher priority.
