I was looking into different admixture plants for making changa and I came across This Blue Lily Flowers

It appears to be similar in effect as white/blue lotus flowers and they are relatives of lotus flowers. I know a lot of people enjoy adding lotus petals to their blends and I was considering experimenting with this plant as well.

Does any one have any experience with this or any comments?

Nymphaea caerulea IS blue lotus/blue lily/etc.

This is why scientific name > common name.

Doesn't lend all that much honestly... Looks pretty in the blend though. But so do rose petals.

I love adding it as the final touch to my changa blends after all the ISO has evaporated off. I find it adds beauty, and a blueberry aftertaste when exhaled through the nose. Plus, it was a part of Egyptian culture, of which I have always been fascinated.

My personal favorite blend is the following:

- 50% 10x caapi leaf
- 35% Mullein
- 15% blue lotus added after the evaporation (otherwise color is lost)
- agua de florida
- Same amount in re-x spice

Peace and Happy Journeys! Smile
