Where can I buy some kind of glass pipe box? I have a glass pipe with a bent stem so that the DMT liquid doesn't go across the stem while I'm vaporising it but when I use my glass pipe it gets very hot and it takes a long time to cool down, I could just put it in a plastic bag while it is cooling down but what happens is it fuses to the plastic bag because of the heat and if I put it in cotton or a similar material it would get burnt or catch fire so is there some kind of prototypical metal pipe box I can buy from a UK vendor and if there is can I have the link?

Hot glass pipe in a pastic bag?! That's really dangerous and asking for trouble.

There are a million possible solutions - off the top of my head a cork box should be inexpensive and meet your fire safety needs.

Please, be safe.

Of all things a plastic bag is probably the worst thing to put your pipe in. You should be able to put it in almost anything but a plastic bag. Like a big ashtray, or just a plate, peace of wood like cutting board or whatever. How is this a problem?

I need somewhere to put it in my rucksack after I've used it, that is why I can't keep it on an ashtray or a plate. Some pipes are sold in velvet-lined boxes, is there any way to buy one of those boxes by themselves? Also is velvet heat-proof? I'm going to look for a cork box, does anyone have a link to where I can by a cork box?

Check local headshops for Vatra cases. You can't find them online, afaik, they only do bulk sales to headshops and the like.

Do you have a local wood supplier around - like Rockler? I imagine you could buy some cork and make your own (something I'm sure you'll take great pride in ... maybe you can make them as gifts for others ... imagine the amount of joy you'd gain from making these for others ... just a thought.)
