I read a lot about how warming and loving mescaline is. How it makes one feel physically warm and cosy. I was really cold the whole trip, which I thought was more a tryptamine side effect. I had to put on a couple of hoodies and crank the heat up on an otherwise regular day. Anyone else have this cold feeling with mescaline? Maybe I didn't take enough?

The dose was 100g dried san Pedro made into resin.

mescaline is still a psychedelic. I have had some freak out cacti experiences. In general it feels alot more like MDMA to me and does have that empathic warmth to it..but still it is a psychedelic has done to me all those things that other psychedelics do.

I have a friend who reported this. feeling freezing under several blankets on a warm day.

its up to how you and the cacti dance, and each dance may be different, ive felt cold and hot and sometimes both simultaneously

I've only had 4 grams of resin so far but my experience was very light, although I did notice that when I was in the sun (90 degree weather) I was cold and had goosebumps.
But when I was in the shade I felt nice and warm.
Other than that I had minor physical effects and very slight breathing of things.

I will get cold sometimes also. Not to the point where it is uncomfortable..

One of my last times I was very cold. My house was chilly anyways, but it was exaggerated for sure. I ended up on the floor in front of my gas stove trying to warm up. But later I bundled up and went out in the cold with no problem. It seems to me anyways to be more of an issue with the come up.

ipuma always wears sweatclothes and lays under the covers for entheogenic doses/ come ups for lesser doses. this seems to work for avoiding chills on all but a couple occasions

A nice hot shower when coming on usually gets me over the chills. Conversely, really hot summer days are much more tolerable when on mescaline.

I suppose this "warm" feeling would probably apply to low or medium doses. What I found on my recent 500mg mescaline journey was that from one moment I just wasn´t able to distunguish between opposite sensations. Without looking at the therometer, for example, I couldn´t figure out whether I was actually warm or cold.

I was feeling the same about other forms of opposing sensations in my mind, like close/distant, fast/slow. My aesthetic judgement was also "hesitant": beautiful/ugly, nice/bad, or "is this stil great, or already pretty scary"?. I found that to be an interesting experience actually.

I've had these polar opposite feelings as well. Usually during the two+ hour come up.

Then things level off for a nice ride the rest of the trip.

The first 2hrs can be really weird and uncomfortable.

On my first attempt at tea I got crazy warm sensations in my groins especially. I could def understand the aphrodisiac effects at that point. Halfway through the experience i took my last single tab of 25cnbomehcl and that synchronized with the mescalito vizion to wonderful effect. All together warm and inviting through the whole experience.
