so ive got abit of an issue, it seems im really struggling to take something out of my smoked dmt experiences.

the visuals still amaze me, of corse, though with it being so short and intense im stuck in a state of shock; it seems im unable to gain any insight during my trips- my thought process sticking to amazement, im like a deer stuck in headlights- not for lack of trying.

now, it should be mentioned, i have yet to take a full break-through dose. im still not comfertable going so deep, im sure i will, but i have my whole life to do that; im in no rush.

is there any advice you guys could give on gaining more than these experiences?

maybe the true power of this molecule is in its innate ability to break through? if so, even dropping in and confirming this possibility would be appreciated.

any advice, experiences, reasons or thoughts are welcomed.

Use harmalas. It will slow down and lengthen the experience.

There are lots of ways to go about it. Either use raw syrian rue, extract some rue or caapi, make some ayahuasca or changa.

Just pure freebase DMT has kinda lost it's luster to a lot of members lately it seems. In order to get the most from your spice trips, harmalas are a must.

So if one uses harmalas, how much longer does it make the trip of vaporized DMT? Where could I find info on dosage etc.?

For some, they claim the breakthrough trip has seemed longer than an hour etc.
However, for me, the 15 minutes or so of a 30mg dose is quite enough by itself. If you are in a state of shock when smoking DMT, you might want to get used to it and increase your dosage, there are no limits with DMT, however, the user has his/her limits. However, one also should review their views on what they want to get from the trip.
Also, you might want to try changa or ayahuasca, if you want to be longer "there". And don't forget the teaching shrooms

It depends a lot on how you administer the harmalas.

If you take 20mg sublingually before vaping, it could add an extra 10-15 min to the afterglow and slow down the experience into something less shocking and more manageable.

If you take 200mg orally then it could extend it up to 45 min or so.

Changa, you can just keep going until you find your sweet spot.

Everyone reacts a little differently, so you'll just have to do some experimentation to find what works best for you.

As far as dosing goes, this thread has a lot of the info you need.

I want to say if you smoke 30-40mg in one hit from a GVG(preferrably with a mesh screen) and still are struggling to "gain something from the experience", you should try another method.

And BTW, I don't wonder that you don't get much out of the experience if you have not broken through. It's kind of equal to saying "I can't get drunk from one beer". So dose yourself a higher dose and see how it goes, and no it won't kill you. If you feel just that your were more shocked, just try a MAOI combination, such as aya.

As others have already said, I’d recommend adding harmalas. Anywhere from 10mg to 30mg harmala alkaloids sublingually about 30 minutes before a journey makes it much more manageable.

Also, in my experience, a breakthrough distorts time very severely. A breakthrough experience may feel like it has been going on for a very long time, maybe an hour or more, then when I’m finally coming back I’ll look at a clock and see I’ve been gone for only 10 minutes. There is often a “timeless” quality to deep breakthroughs.

As others have stated, I would proceed to a "breakthrough" level dose. For me, almost all of my scariest experiences have been when I have been caught in between this dimension and hyperspace. Once I have launched, I typically lose sense of time and fear.

Once you obtain a full breakthrough, you will understand the true power of this molecule. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you come back saying "Whoa, holy shit, that was the craziest experience of my life but..... wait, what happened?!?"

The speed, chaos, and intensity of the experience may still leave you wondering what you were supposed to pull from the journey. Over time, I learned to navigate, remember, and integrate a much higher % of the experience. As with anything, practice makes perfect!

Experimenting with different ROA's and dosages of harmalas will also help you tailor the experience to what allows you to learn the most.

Much love. Smile
