Except that Sheldrake has been around for a LONG time, he has impeccable initial scientific credentials, and is now WELL KNOWN as a major supporter of such things. I get the impression (I'm not certain) from reading some about him that he has published work along these lines in psychology journals.
Good point. By going public in any fashion he was still staking his career on it.
