You would expect area's like the amygdala to be relatively more active in hellish experiences, would you? Also, you would expect more beta brainwaves and fewer alpha and theta brainwaves i suppose.

That sounds plausible as well. As far as i know, psilocin does not have much dopaminergic effects in low to medium amounts, but it does have some effects when larger amounts are taken.
