Hello, all. Like most others, I'm a long time lurker. I come to you by way of my meandering path, following where it leads. I'm 23, and in possibly the most beautiful place in my life (short though it may seem) that I have ever been in. Over the past year I've found my walk down the path of life leading me towards consciousness and self expansion, self exploration, self improvement, and beyond, and thus to you wonderful people. I'd like to take a moment to thank all Nexians for the knowledge and insight that they've shared, along with the beautiful and positive sense of community I feel from you all. Just as many others say, I'm sure, this has been one of the most reverent and mature forums I've found for information, guidance, advice and such; now all the others just seem chock full of immaturity and drama (with a few exceptions when weeded through, of course). I look forward to sharing and learning within this community, and am thankful that it and all of you are here, and that we are all experiencing amazing things "together", in a sense.

SWIM has little experience with psychedelics, but has been drawn to DMT. SWIM accepts what the universe brings to her doorstep, and after a long period of research and soul-searching, has decided to take the final steps to experience it. She is very humbled and respectful of this amazing opportunity, and, once experienced, looks forward to sharing with Nexus. SWIM has just finished her first involvement with an extraction, and feels even closer to the spice. SWIM hopes that DMT will show her what it will, be it what it may, but hopes to learn its lessons, have it teach her new ways to see herself and her world, open her mind to even more possible future experiences, and give her whatever else it may in whatever way it chooses to Guide her.

Once again, thank you for being the wonderful community that you are and teaching me what you have. I look forward to continuing down my path of life and including Nexus within it. Loving you all.

welcome zwietracht,

I really liked your intro. psychedelics are such a vast topic and experience! Your approach seems adequate, openness and reflectivity are key IMO to getting the most out of them - not that I think of the experiences in terms of productiveness or palpable gains. But since I'm here obviously I do believe there is value in the experience - questions like:
how does this help me reflect upon myself?
how does this help me navigate through or understand the world?
how does this help me participate in the cosmic processes of unravelling? ...

usually help me make sense of what happened, but I don't expect discrete answers. It's more about keeping these questions spinning in my mind, rather than answering them. The answers I suppose are in the way my consciousness behaves given these reflections...

I'm sure you'll love it here in the nexus

cheers
Enoon

Thanks for the welcoming. Smile And thank you for the advice, Enoon. I'll definitely keep those questions in mind when working on integration.
