After breaking convention last weekend I had to go through London for the first time to get home. I was in a strange mood after encountering a fine portion of the psychedelic community for the first time ever! Lot's of introspective questions were being fired at myself, there was a sense of meaningless and dis-involvement, uncertainty with too many options. In the modern western world it seems, we are so rich & surrounded by so much potential and opportunity (blossoming more recently due to the internet!) that I feel lost with what to do.

So a girl (who had recently discovered changa was not for her) had given me some Changa in the line to try the 'lucid light stimulator'... which deserves a thread in itself. http://www.gesund-im-licht.at/ - the machine inspires quite intense visuals and a sense of well-being and restedness I found.

Basically I am driven to roll all the changa in a single rolling paper a few minutes before I reach London. I get out into the air, sit on a bench feeling quite invincible, and smoke half of it as fast as I can...

Absurdity hit me at once - it was the trickster archetype I had met before. I started to look around this place I had never seen before with the novel high definition eyes I'd adopted. My lighter was the same lighter & the changa spliff the same spliff - yet they were completely surreal in an ineffable way. Hyper-realism... it put 'drive' back into me. Filled with euphoria I sprung up and started to walk around my new playground. About 3 minutes in I felt the desire to smoke and stopped to chat to an English couple who offered me 20 cigarettes - I decided then that this would be my last cigarette as a smoker. This was Sunday night and I haven't smoked since (Y)

The image of the couple to me was depth & newness, I felt quite uplifted and I chatted about the conference & DMT for a minute - they chatted about their holiday. I left and walked around London, vision slowly fading back to normal... thought I'm certain a bit of DMT-vision lies with me all the time now.

This trip made me realise I need to make changa Smile DMT can certainly be fun and serve as a gentle reminder of the novelty of things. It definitely left me feeling tranquil but focused. Wish I knew what plant it was made with as it was so smooth. I'll be trying something like this again when seeing places for the first time or just seeing places - it caused a lot of original thought when walking around London at least.

To think it's just a few tokes away for anyone walking around London...
